I'm not a conspiracy theorist but I'm starting to wonder if these ICE extra judicial killings are part of a plan to provoke a level of public disturbance that results in Trump sending in the military 

 

Down the line will he stir the pot to invoke martial law as a pretext to avoiding an election- I can't believe he will relinquish power willingly in three years time and he does admire the Putins and Kim Jong Uns of this world

He has said a few times he thinks about going for a third term even though he knows he can’t , says it’s a joke but it isn’t he has no plans to give up power. He is scared of the mid terms as well several of him and his team have come out and said if they lose the mid terms or if they had lost he election they would be in jail so I imagine he is causing as much sh** as he can now so what you said above happens

It does all seem a bit Andor season 2 in that way.

That being said, I think (and hope) that he lacks the power and support at all the levels necessary to make such a scheme actually work.

As someone who is shit scared of heights, it gives me sweaty palms watching Alex Honnold.

 

I preferrred his El Capitan climb as it was more varied and this one was quite repetitive, but the bloke is an absolute freak of nature.

The word “error” implies an understanding of the difference between correct and incorrect, which I don’t think applies in the case of Trump. But in any case, no-one in his Government has the moral courage to tell him he’s wrong. Credit to Starmer for being angry enough, and letting it show.

I wonder who in his inner circle actually has both the power and the motive to get him to row back though? Miller has the power but not the motive, the only one I can think of is perhaps Vance.

That these ICE agents appear to be in military style uniforms with no badges of rank or insignia and masked without local Police in attendance as far as I can see. All very odd and concerning even from this distance

I've watched Free Solo 3 or 4 times I think. It's the most nerve wracking, edge of your seat, bite your nails, shit your pants, documentary I've ever seen.

You can't just walk back the kind of comments Trump made about NATO soldiers.

 

If he didn't truly believe it, he said it to make a point, and the controversial nature of the initial comments mean that they will travel further globally than the apology.

 

He's besmirched steadfast allies. Allies who answered the call from the US, the only country to have invoked the clause that requires NATO's collective defence of their country.

 

Add that to Saturday's papers in the supermarket. All of them criticised Trump's comments on their front page, except the Daily Mail. Instead, it praised Trump for perhaps delaying or potentially stopping the handing over of the Chagos Islands to Mauritius. And also included a headline about Piers Morgan having a poorly hip. A genuinely spineless, bootlicking rag.

He never apologized he just tried to bs some comment that still went wrong as he said his troops were better or something

 

Regarding the shooting of the nurse guy, what annoys me is that Noem and Patel twats. We all saw the video,  still shots, you name it. Guy was murdered.
