A known quantity to the manager. A keeper who has spent the majority of his career at a high level.  Free.  Hopefully cheap on wages.  Either 2nd or 3rd choice.  Lots of experience with a coaching role eyed up you'd imagine.  No complaints.

Well yeah. A coach who can basically fill in if needed. A multi purpose 3rd choice essentially.  2nd is Mads goes.

You don’t really need a 3rd choice keeper in the championship, just give the spot to a youth keeper and if one gets injured get one in on loan. 
 

Assume we are sorting out a transfer away for Mads.

If Mads stays, he can be third choice combined with a more active coaching role. This also means our best youth keeper can get a loan move.

 

If Mads goes, we bank the profit and use AB as 2nd choice. 
 

We’ve saved £80k odd a week with Ward and Iversen going so should be making a significant saving on wages whatever happens

If low wages and no more than 2 years I’m ok with it. If we get him it gives us a little security to allow mads to leave. Bring him in, mads moves, dominos start to fall.

Yeah don’t mind it as long as it’s a 3rd choice role. Looking at the bigger picture the experience he’ll bring could be huge.

Back up for Jacob for when Mads goes. Probably want a 2 year deal though which I'd be sceptical about. Ideally a one year deal with a second year if he hits 15 appearances.. only achievable if Jacob crashes out or gets injured.

Any money from Mads will just clear a few debts with hopefully a little accessible to go towards a 9

Don’t have an issue with this in the slightest especially in the goalkeeper role, think he will come in as player coach and then be back up if required.

Absolute fine as back up to Stolarcyk is Hermansen leaves. Also good to sign experienced players who are independent of the antics of club previously.

No problem with this as long as the contract is one year and reasonable wages, i.e. circa 10-15k per week.
