So we paid 20 million and he’s wanted by a Premier League club who have offered 20 million. 
 

You’d kinda want to think that we could identify a target buy him and then turn a profit.

Looks technically good but disappointing end product since he's been with us. That may be because he is in a team of poor players who rarely play progressive football and more often take the sideways and backwards option just to retain posssession

He has 2 assists in 1.5 championship games for us.

 

The decision to take him off the other day and keep Ayew on was very strange. He's still one of our best players so should have stayed on unless he has fully had his head turned.

It wasn’t strange he was awful yesterday, in fact you could have subbed off all 11 at half time they were that bad, but difference was you could see BEK was protecting himself, playing well within himself and didn’t want to be there.

 

i honestly think Matti is being told to keep selecting these players as leverage to negotiate better fees, if they are all missing from the 1st team it shows the interested parties they can low ball their offers.
 

Truth is it’s hurting us far more on the pitch so we need to get these deals done quickly and move on with a squad fully committed to being here.

The transfer window is killing us.  Lack of excitement around new signings (fans and dressing room) and half our players looking to escape.  Horrible.

Getting rid of the ones who want to

escape is exactly what we need though. The transfer window isn’t what’s killing us, the negligence of the clubs ownership is killing us. If we hadn’t have been such a disaster the players we want to keep might have hung around, but they can all see the rudderless ship we have become.

We are currently in an awful position. Players that clearly want to leave who no one is bidding for and players we are actively trying to sell that no one is bidding for.
