If you want to be generous to Mads - the 4th and 5th goals hardly impacted the result and he didn’t stand much of a chance with the first 3.

I’d also question what Wilson and Kilman were doing on the fourth goal because they just got in his way for what would have been an easy take otherwise.

Nevertheless… it’s not the home debut you want.

To be fair, West Ham is a terrible move for him, they’re terrible club to be at when things aren’t going well. They call us entitled and toxic, but they’re a different level.

My West Ham supporting mate seems to be blaming me 😂. They’re resigned to relegation if he holds his place

Yep just a total mess in front of him really. And did he feel he had to come for those corners given how badly they defended the first goal. Must feel like deja vu for him

Time to pull him out of my Fantasy Dream team thingy FFS!

He doesnt look like the player we had before his injury. The commentators were talking about him feeling down after his relegation with us but I reckon thats major BS. He would have been a happy bugger with his new salary, moving to London with his chunky signing on fee. I cant see him being depressed at the transfer as the pundits described the muppets.

Hopefully he regains his form, he was class for us for 18 months.

Form is temporary, class is permanent.

Mads Hermansen will play at a higher level than Leicester City consistently over the next decade.

The confidence in Stolarczyk is also far too high at the moment in my opinion. Jury still very much out on whether a promotion-chasing Championship side should have him as number 1.

Yeah - but he should be fine for us

Potter is poor manager. In the not-too-distant future people will be scratching their heads and wondering why on earth he was ever rated.

Potter is a modsrn CEO type manager. Culture and all that. Same as Southgate. As for tactics and coaching....

He is a great shot stopper, at close to mid range.

He did get beat by long shots and also has poor control of his area. This is what he’s struggling with so far at West Ham.

He obviously thought he could see the light at the end of the tunnel, when offered a move to a premier league outfit. How was he to know that the light at the end of the tunnel was infact another train heading in the opposite direction to Chelsea on the same track.

He performed really well for us in the premier league when mads was out. He’s absolutely fine for a promotion chasing championship side.

He isn’t match fit in my opinion, still looks a little off it.

We played a blinder playing him against Fiorentina to prove to West Ham that he’d recovered so they’d pay us the fee ,

If anyone watched that game against Fiorentina he didn’t have a save to make and looked a little wobbly with a few passes especially in the first half.

He’ll come good I think, the logical thing to do would’ve been to play Areola in these first 2 games and then brought Mads in for the midweek cup game, Potter’s thrown him in straightaway after no proper pre-season and put him under huge pressure.

After 2 years of promoted sides going straight back down, this could be like 22/23 when they all stay up. Maybe the toilet flushes on West Ham. Brentford in trouble and Wolves will struggle again for me.

Did well on Mads sale now. He may end up an 18m 2nd choice at this rate.

Context is important when judging him and he's obviously just returned from injury but his first two performances have just highlighted the same weaknesses he had with us. He's awful with balls across the box - from set set pieces and open play. Flapping and slapping the ball away seems to be the modern keeping. This alongside being good with the ball at their feet.

West Ham are destined to be relegated. They are very much like us from last season. Not the best career move for Hermanson but given out circumstances, not arsed about that.

I am sure Mads will be a success for them. He was outstanding for us, he's used to being busy. Apparently, he is a very good bloke too. I hope he does well.

I genuinely don't think he will.

West Ham look likely to concede a lot of goals and it seems many of their fans have already formed an opinion of Mads. Its almost like that unconscious bias, Mads will probably be the first person they look at when they concede.

Once peoples opinions are formed, he'll start getting stick for letting in goals that no keeper would have stood a chance saving.

I don't know, looking how bad both him & West ham have been in only the first two games, I think hes got a massive uphill battle to be a success there.

He's only come back from a major operation and hasn't really played in pre season, so it was harsh to throw him straight in.

West Ham fans don't like him already, going on last night. Feel for him as he was so good for us until his injury.
