moore_94 Posted 28 June Posted 28 June After another relegation wage drop I expect he is down to around £20-30k a week now I imagine that would still be towards the middle to higher end of what Cagliari players earn, but it depends how many years they offer him as well
kingfox Posted 28 June Posted 28 June The day he leaves will be the greatest day in Leicester City history since May 24th 2026, when we announced Ayew had been released. 2 2

SB87_LCFC Posted 29 June Posted 29 June I genuinely feel like this move will give such a lift to the group of players he leaves behind. Always struck me as 'its all about me' and that he was bigger than he was cos he had been capped by England and played a bit in the Prem, now just for VK and Faes to leave Good riddance 1
brookfox Posted 29 June Posted 29 June Feels like one of the biggest changes we can make this summer is switching out players who don’t want to be here or are here due to golden handcuffs to those that do. None of our relegations have been because we’ve had the worst players, it’s because other teams have wanted it more than us. Winks appears to epitomise that more than most so I’d be happy to switch him out for a less talented player who plays for the shirt.

We should be aiming for players that care AND have more in their locker than 5 metre sideways and backwards passes. Edited 29 June by honeybradger

Of course we should, ideally every player should be a warrior, on sensible wages, an athlete, technically brilliant in their position, live nearby, be a good character off the pitch etc… however we’re now a League One club so have to trade off something. And based on the past I’d accept a less gifted footballer for a good character as it seems to be this that needs redressing in the squad more than anything. 1
