Got quite a languid style to him. Thought he made some decent contributions and is likely to get a chance this season as our midfield really is not riddled with quality.

Looking at his appearances for the first team, he seems to get into really good attacking positions very naturally and quite similar to how Andy king used to, I think kingy would help him considerably in this area of his game.

Impressed with what I saw tonight. Certainly put himself about. Yeah, some weak passes but he did more than a certain midfield combo achieved together.

A sign of how respected he is in the squad is the fact that he took a corner near the end of the game over Bilal (and it was a great corner, too).

 

I like the lad from what I've seen of him so far from pre season to now.

Really good. His ability to receive the ball on the half turn is something Soumare and Skipp could only dream of.

Going to be a star this kid. Gets around the pitch so easily, reminds me of Bellingham, everything looks easy for him.

He played well overall. He put himself about, held the ball up well

What’s his actual position, he was miles better than Skipp every time I see him play he has stood out, works his socks off as well as having quality

The only makeup of our midfield that has any potential to work at the moment is Winks as a 6, and Page and BEK as dual 8s.

 

Defensively, that’s lacking steel, but would allow us to press very high.

What I like about him is maturity, he has it behind his years. Very comfortable on the pitch. Both he and Monga will eventually be starting I think.

Thank god we have players like him coming through the academy. Senior debut at 16 years old and only going to get better. Would love to see him get a run of games in the league
