Any chance that it’s to help his development and his chances of inclusion for the World Cup and IF we secure promotion he’s back with us next season? Otherwise why not permanent?

Is there a loan fee? Otherwise, other than saving his wage it’s not helping this seasons ffp doodah calculation thingy.

Just wish this had been sorted in July and we hadn’t wasted pre-season games factoring him in. Gives us 3 hours to find a replacement, ta for that.

Guessing we are already compliant this season and this just helps us for next year once we get the full fee. I'd imagine we're working on a replacement seeing as it was obvious he was leaving. But this is us..

lol The reaction to this is priceless. Almost everyone expected he might leave when relegation was confined, he forced through a move to us as he wanted to play in the PL so was likely to do that again to play in the top flight. People then act so surprised that he asked to leave.

Lost a good player and could have been so much more money wise but it'll still be a decent bit of businesses overall.

I'm a bit meh.

Clearly got talent but didn't exactly set the world alight for us, albeit he was in a shite side.

Interestingly, the article announcing his signing on the Stuttgart site doesn't make mention of the option to sign permanently. European clubs normally very good at mentioning they have an option.

No mention to them having an obligation to purchase him on our site either?

Does this mean he’ll be back like a bad smell if we get promoted?

best of luck to him. Clearly a talented boy. Don't really have this ill feeling a lot of fans do when, especially if the player is joining a club in the Champions League etc. Is what it is.

He’s not joining a Champions League team though, he’s gone to a Europa League team.

Interestingly they play Fenerbache on the 23rd October, so he’ll likely come up against Soyuncu and Under.

Has anyone told Bilal he's still a Leicester player?

He's gone. This is a PSR trick to move his sale to next year. We're supposedly all good for this current PSR accounting period so moving the sale to next summer puts us ahead of the game a bit.

This will be why Carranza, James and Ramsey will all come in on loan with options/obligations to buy.

Doubt he has thought this since a few games before we were relegated.

Is this confirmed?

So what’s the loan fee and whats the obligation to buy fee?

There is no obligation to buy apparently

"The 21-year-old's move will become permanent with the Bundesliga club holding an obligation to buy.

El Khannouss cost Leicester £21m from Genk last summer and he made 39 appearances for the Foxes, scoring three times."

So, £5m loan fee and £25m (or Euros) from Stuttgart next summer whether he's wanted or not?

Just under £26m including loan if it’s in Euros which has been reported
