I’m really happy about this one. I remember watching him against us a couple of seasons back and hoped we would go in for him.

He scored against us at St Andrews didn’t he.

A brace albeit the second took a massive deflection and iirc he might have accidentally set up our first.

It was an all round decent performance though. Took the first really well.

Was hoping we would go in for him the other week when Wrexham were first linked, so glad we have. He’s gonna be a big big player for us. Always impressed me whenever I watched him for Birmingham. Just what we need in the middle.

What’s the future fee, £5m? I’d be happy with paying close to double that tbh.

L'equipe said five, and I think that was in euros, but it's not been reported elsewhere I don't think?

€5m is frankly ridiculous. To be honest.

If he has the season he could have for us this year he could easily be a 12-15m footballer.

Does anyone know if we have a buy option on any of our loan players?

Yeh think we have on Jordon James and the striker. I think Ramsey is a loan no option

Would make sense, wouldn't imagine Burnley would be wanting to sell Ramsey given his age and potential (if he's recovered from his injury). That could change however if he does well here and we go up and they get relegated

Yeh If we was to swap we might be able to convince them to sell if we want him

If this guy can bring what he did at Birmingham and we can keep Ricky P fit then we have the difference makers in this league.

(Fatawu, Monga, of course but more thinking of 90 minutes week in week out)

6 points or less deducted we go up automatically.
