RedSoxUK Posted 22 October 2025 Posted 22 October 2025 - Soumare shouldn't be anywhere near the opposition box. - Daka shouldn't be starting. - Ayew should be a sub from 70 minutes onwards, on the winng. - Ayew shouldn't be taking corners. - Winks shouldn't be in a position to be captain. - Stolarczyk shouldn't see that much of the ball if he's mistake prone / not a good distributor. Okay some of that is/was probably out of his control. However Begovic (was at QPR,) the random Spanish goalkeeper (is Spanish) and Carranza (speaks Spanish,) are clearly on him. We're left with a playing one of three strikers that CAN'T score and have proven records or NOT scoring. And a shit style that means it's basically random worldie, or a set piece to score. He stinks of Fraudulence, for that reason, I'm OUT. 1 1
Legend_in_blue Posted 22 October 2025 Posted 22 October 2025 1 win in 7. A 9 point deduction places us in the bottom 3. Let that sink in. 3 1
Dahnsouff Posted 22 October 2025 Posted 22 October 2025 Plenty predicted it. Although perhaps half in jest.
cityfanlee23 Posted 22 October 2025 Posted 22 October 2025 All we can do is hope that given the window we had, we have enough money to make a move if we continue to underdeliver. 1

winteriscoming Posted 22 October 2025 Posted 22 October 2025 The alternative with these clowns is Russell Martin. So I’m hoping he makes wholesale changes for the Millwall game. If he doesn’t he really isn’t helping himself. 1

Was a bit of a false position though Hermansen was keeping us in every game pretty much, we was toothless going forward I think we had the worst XG for and against while Cooper was here and that trend has continued under 2 other managers with the same squad of players, strange. He also had Vardy, Nididi, Bilal and Facundo 2
sm1 Posted 22 October 2025 Posted 22 October 2025 I'm disappointed with Marti but also understand that you can't sack managers every couple of months and expect to be successful. I dont really care about the formation or the personnel, I just want to see a change in intent. Get the ball forward quickly instead of playing 100 passes between the CBs and CM. Encourage the players to take risks with their passing as opposed to making safe passes, as if possession is the holy grail. Encourage balls in space instead of playing to feet all the time, especially to the wingers and striker. The intent should be to attack and score goals, not hold onto the ball like it's a new born baby. 1

I'd argue despite being above the relegation zone, we weren't very competitive at all really Yeah, that's competitive mate, picking up results, being above the relegation zone and actually being able to score a goal at your own stadium most weeks, by definition means you are competing. It's what he was bought in to do, not entertain, not play nice football, get points, keep us up. And if anyone has any other expectations of him with that squad then they are just being completely unrealistic. What's not competitive is not scoring a single goal at home for best part of 5 months and only having that duck broken by the two sides worse than we are once they were both already down. Indirect, sure. But Top isn't the one making the lineup choices. 2

As owner, he could stamp authority and standards on the club, including the players, at any time he wants. They know they can get away with disrespecting the club and fans because the owner does the same.

cruzFOX Posted 23 October 2025 Posted 23 October 2025 We all gave ruud way more latitude! I don’t think Marti is in that same territory of ineptitude so I’m willing to give him a little more slack BUT he needs to sort it out asap against millwall. We’ve sadly thrown away valuable points these last few games.
