Oxford have a better manager than we do, let that sink in

So do Royal Oak FC

I really wanted this one to work out. I like the way he is willing to engage and be open with fans which is refreshing after being treated like a non-entity by the club, but it seems he is short of the required level.

His game management is very suspect and his ability to get the best out of his players is average at best. Have we won both halves of football in the same match this season? It doesn't feel like he is able to get us playing for 90 mins.

Personally ive liked him before the season and wanted to give him a chance as he’s inherited some shite but **** me he just wants to head even faster into the ice berg.

A complete and utter waste of time. I’d sack him tonight

I’d say that’s a little like sacking the cabin boy for the Titanic sinking in the first place. You’d replace him with someone with similar competence and the results are not going to change.

What did I tell all of you and you dismissed it for nitpicking?

You now see why the Derby game should have rung alarm bells?

Marti cannot control a match, he cannot sustain pressure, he cannot dominate an opposition.

The best form of defence is attack and the opposition cannot score when you have the ball.

The big deal is it is an indictment on Marti's poor tactics and inability to dictate tempo and control a game.

2nd half we played like a Dyche team, sit back and invite pressure.

Hilariously enough, we couldn't even keep a clean sheet which proves my entire point.

You go for the jugular, get the 4th or 5th and finally demoralise the Derby players.

Keep the press high.

Keep the high line.

This is the football Marti promised, he is not delivering any of that.

Marti instead did the opposite and gave Derby more confidence. They were allowed 18 shots against us! You cannot make excuses for this.

He seems worryingly out of his depth for someone who had already been managing in this division for the past two seasons. Proper rabbit in headlights stuff yet again

Spoke to surprise QPR fan at work earlier where we didn't know we had Marti in common. He said "absolutely none entity, no backbone or discipline"

They've been through managers like hot dinners mind.

He’s not going anywhere, we seem to have a disinterested owner who I can’t imagine will consider doing anything whilst we’re stumbling along mid table.
What the powers at be now find acceptable is frightening and depressing in equal measure.
Poor decision after poor decision, and lessons never learnt.

Vichai would have sacked this fool by now.

We'd never be in the championship if Vichai was still with us

The first half’s against Derby and Bristol just show how very poor the opponents are in this league and both teams should have been put to the sword second half. Get him gone! The players look unfit, and lacked any tactical shape in both matches second half!

Ipswich must be licking their lips for Saturday.

We'd be where Aston Villa are right now if Vichai was here.

Makes me sick to my stomach how Top has completely ruined the family name.

Yes you’re spot on. We’re actually in a worse position now than when King Power took over because of a catalogue of poor decisions over the last few years. I lived the good times of course and I’m thankful but it should never have got this bad given the successes.

Someone please explain to me. why you appoint a manager that saved a side from relegation when you looking for automatic promotion at the start of the season, it just seems like we just got him cheap thinking that somehow he would deliver the goods, but almost half way into the season, there is nothing to suggest he has the talent to get us to the premier, you can blame the squad as much as you want, but it still down to the manager to get the best out of the players you have, but I don't see any evidence of it!

Bristol City having more points in the league just sums up what we need to know about Marti. He ain’t getting the job done. The margins are narrow between mid table and the playoff spots but as we go further into the season that will change. Hasn’t shown enough to warrant keeping the job. In fact quite the opposite.

I did wonder at half time whether we could go five at the back then.  When we got the second goal just before half time we were already losing our grip. Bringing on Daka was a waste because we never had the ball to release him.

More tactical cowardice.

Do the hard work and go in to the break with a lead and then deliberately decide to stop playing.   Hand the initiative to the opposition, bend over and invite the inevitable.

His post match interviews are getting worse! You can’t expect a performance for 90 mins in a tough championship league…. Idiot still thinks he’s in charge of QPR

Strangely 4 points away from home in a week has actually confirmed that he is not good enough. The first half at Derby and some of the play in the first half at Bristol has actually proved that this team can play much better football. The two second halves have proved that he is tactically inept. And what on earth does he say at half time? I can barely remember us starting a second half well.

Spoke to an ex qpr pro a few weeks back and asked what he thought.  Despite what looked like a good job from the outside, he said that he wasn’t having him.  Sadly the conversation was too brief to elaborate

I didn't dismiss you on Saturday - I said nothing about Cifuentes. I was just sticking the boot into Cooper, saying he didn't go defensive to hold onto leads, he started defensive until losing, then made a token effort to attack when it was too late. I don't think I've ever even expressed an opinion about Cifuentes this season. Not been convined by much he's done so far, that's for sure!
