damned if you do and damned if you don't.

i love slamming the club as much as the next guy at the minute. Rudkin, Top, club statements, over priced tickets, over priced merchandise... we could continue... but how this affects anyone I am really not sure? no offence to the OP - but if it is "tinpot" what's it matter? clearly states it's an #AD and they are probably being paid somewhat to do so. nobody hurt?

I don't think many things are "normal" at this club! Spending £20m on Oli Skipp certainly isn't normal.

Spending a combined nearly £100m on Skipp, Vestergaard, Soumare, Daka and Faes is not normal.

Replacing Kasper with Danny Ward isn't normal.

Hiring 3 poor managers in a row is not normal.

Etc etc

Just can’t say I’ve seen a club advertise products in this way before, but maybe it is the norm.

Just thought it felt a bit weird

LCFC social media meeting: what do you think the fans want?
How about an update on the youth team? Maybe we could give the line up and goal updates?

What about a live stream?

Even better, what about an offer on mixed berry crap drinks - if you can’t be in the Carabao Cup - get Carabao in your cup!

Brilliant, we’ve done it again! - also let’s wish Dennis Wise a happy birthday whilst we’re at it.

It’s part of the deal for participating in the Carabao Cup. League signs a commercial agreement and clubs need to comply to that to partake in the competition. Nothing to see here!

Is it normal for a professional sports team to do sponsorship and advertising....?

I think it's more that the advert/wording and link looks that dodgy that it makes you think they've been hacked.

One time an employ asked me 'is this normal' and showed a photo of a poo she did that morning.
