Short term deal

25k/week

Heavy bonus structure to bump that up based on appearances/goals/wins

perhaps indicates that carranza can be sent back in Jan or daka may be off.

25k a week in the championship for a bloke who is 36 and has not played in well over a year after a car crash!

ok Jon

We've got the Peter Taylor syndrome he'd be happy to accept £30k until June we'll offer £80k on a 3 year deal with a 1 year extension option and the promise of a coaching job.

Guessing this has been sent out pre press conference so we're not all surprised when Marti gets asked questions about it lol

Offer him a deal where its pay as play but if he scores say six goals or more over next four months he can a full contract up to end of next season. Give him summit to personally aim for.

Think he has played a couple of u21 games but your point is still very valid.

What's his attitude like? More important than playing ability for me at the moment. I can't say I paid a huge deal of attention to him in past years besides thinking he was a bloody good striker at his peak.

Don't really want us carting Winks out the door because of his mindset and replacing him with another London playboy. But if he's a grafter I'll have a bit of that in what's likely to be a slog to the end of the season.

Baffled by the seemingly positive response to this.

36 years old, Premier League wages, short term deal, hasn’t put a pair of boots on in well over a year and has always relied on physical attributes.

The same shit decision making that has put us in this mess. In June we will have one striker at the club, Jake Evans. A lad that has literally never played up front in a men’s game.

Sick of the club refusing to look at the reason as to why we are in such a mess.

Rudkin OUT.

tbf to MA, hes been training, had a U21s game in august(scored 2 in it)

i cant imagine the club paying him prem wages, its more than likely to be a pay as you play or base(low salary) with bonuses

send Carranza back, get MA in on a deal till the summer

make sure he passes a very strict medical as well

I wouldn’t mind him if the money was right i.e no ridiculous wages. We’re hardly in a position to be uber picky at the moment.

It'll be until the end of the season, if he can get in & kick some 4sses & provide a bit of leadership whilst keeping Ayew away from 90mins a game then its a yes from me.

Not optimistic he’d be fit enough to play considering we have a squad that were not involved in a horrific car accident a year ago, and are knackered after 45 mins.

I suggest the opposite.

Our squad can't even play for more than 45 minutes - how much worse can he be - especially as he has clearly got the motivation to return to fitness (at 34 he could have easily retired) and motivation is something our squad lacks

I said during pre-season that I'd love him here if he can get himself fit!

A Michail Antonio at 75% fit is better than any of our current striker options.

Just 1 goal in 836 minutes last season. That's a lower goals per minute ratio than all of Ayew, Daka and BDCR. And this was BEFORE the accident.

get the cvnt in on 80k a week, sound like our sort of player:scarf:
