The State Of the “Official” Foxes Fanstore, otherwise known as the Club Shop

There does seem to be more tat than usual this year. At one time the club had some reasonable Fox and Crop stuff but now even the badges on clothing often look cheap. Feels like the club in general. I’m not going to buy any club shirts with gambling advertising either don’t mind KP on the shirts but the socks is a bit much!

Other than my season tickets I don't spend anything on the club nowadays. Merchandise is substandard and overpriced as is food and drink in the stadium. If people stopped buying it the club would have to up their game rather than creating us as mugs.

I can't believe the amount of people willing to pay £5+ on pints. Plastic cups and probably tastes horrific.

Me neither and there must be a lot of extremely hungry fans to eat the stuff served up at football grounds.

Rightly being rinsed by fans of other clubs for the 70-yard tat. Absolute laughing stock.

The club is thick.

I think it's probably come from them seeing how well the Art of Football stuff sold... thinking they could do it themselves... and realising there's a difference between talented designers recreating a moment, and some twat in the commercial team sticking a prompt into ChatGPT....

As with any retail store there will be some good and some tat. Remember were owned by a duty free retailer so there's bound to be some crap. Biggest problem for me is them pushing the King Power brand more than the Leicester City brand.

I can just about understand one of Fatawu but this seems a bit of a stretch

Yep. Nothing other than slinging £20 to a mate for a forwarded ticket.

This is my third season of boycotting the club shop and not buying anything in the ground. Can’t see that changing any time soon either whilst these jokers are still in charge. That Abdul merch is embarrassing.

As shit as it is, I'd take that being the only thing to laugh at us at right now.

I can just see some poor kiddo getting those socks for Christmas! Either that or it ends up in some unlucky bugger’s secret Santa draw.

is there a matching pair of KP Y-fronts to pair with the socks perhaps?

Bought the black/blue stripe new era bobble and baseball hats in the sale a couple of years ago but that’s about it.

Aside from the quality of what’s in there at the moment I just don’t feel like spending a penny more on the club than I have to.

Nought wrong with the slippers.

You can buy that pair of slippers from Primark for £1.50 and it doesn't come with the thoroughly embarrassing badge on it that says "I spent £20 for these".

I'm generally pressed for time on a night game and sometimes have to get a sausage roll or something to tie me over but since they've scrapped those Piglets Pantry ones that were genuinely tasty and filling for Pukka Pie tat I've sacked that off and will buy myself a sandwich at lunch and leave it in the car.

Isn't that what club merchandise has been like forever though? Not just LCFC or football either.

Take something, stick a badge on it, charge way over the odds.

You mean you don't want a T shirt to celebrate that legendary goal from a Championship game with no gravitas on it?

Leicester City Fatawu Goal Blue T-Shirt - Kids

Next thing you won't want your Fatawu t-shirt!

Leicester City A.Fatawu T-Shirt - Adults

TBF, The Love Unites kit looks amazing

I'm going to bring those t-shirts up the next time Cov thump us and put out a commemorative DVD. Jesus wept, to call it tinpot does a disservice to tin.

The Fatawu stuff is embarrassing. First the documentary, now this tat.

He’s not Ronaldo. Even if he was, the 70 yards merchandise would be embarrassing.

He is a likable lad and a good player but this is the outcome of having no significant figures playing for the club now. You are left with very little to promote.

I know all clubs sell tat but they generally have huge fanbases. We don't. There is a limited appeal for this stuff.
