Wonder who this club "we know well" is.

Cheltenham? Newport?

Good, it's what he needs.  Massive difference between pissing it in the youth sides up to u21 than playing at the senior level.

Just hope wherever he goes he's needed for the 11 or at worst a well utilised sub rather than an arse on the bench for insurances.

Relegation battle in league one. Not the best move in terms of the number of chances created for their strikers I’d guess. Ex u21 player Joe Wormleighton is there isn’t he so will have a familiar face around.

Means he stays at home, which is no bad thing for a 17 year old.

If it is Northampton they play 343 so it would be a formation that he’d fit into, either on the wing or striker.

None of their forwards have been prolific which you’d expect for a side at the bottom

Any game time at any FL level will be amazing for him. Unlike Alves/Braybrooke where they should be tested at a higher level because of their age, Evans just needs to get used to the physicality of men's football. Doesn't matter if he plays amazingly well or is rubbish, it's just about him adapting to professional football. He's absolutely stormed U21 football so not really doing anything for his development playing lots of football at that level so any loan is great.

A loan is best for him. He isn’t going to get any minutes here at his age.

if he can get 15 games under his belt at league 1/2 level that would do his development wonders. He might be ready to be a squad player next season.

Yeah being a month younger than Page makes all the difference, not to mention older than Monga.

its one thing if he isn’t deemed good enough, but it’s certainly not about age.

The meltdown about him leaving I’m seeing is ridiculous.

Part of it  stems from how bad things are.

People are living in hope he will solve the forward options.

I thought he struggled in his few sub appearances last season.

Going out and getting game time is what he needs.

His sub appearances were for 5 minutes in the Premier League, of course he struggled to do anything in those games.
