Unless he somehow managed to get an absoutely brilliant backroom staff with him (which I doubt the club would allow him to bring in) then no

He is only really a couple of years into coaching and this would be very much the definition of thrown in at the deep end

He might not even want to be a manager as well

Yes, he could end up like Ryan Mason at WBA did.

A couple of games no issue. As a replacement, no.

We need an experience hand, as shown with Ruud, and Marti failures.

These players need to be reminded why they are a professional footballer and not a wet soggy gherkin. For that someone needs to come in that will command respect, and I hate to keep bringing his name up, but a Pearson types of manager.

Sod the fancy passing style just get the team doing the basics and get them running and we should start to pick up points.

Then the summer needs a clear plan from the off, implemented quickly and efficiently with all the ground work already done, as we will need an entire team at this rate.

King til the end of the season in the same way that Shakey took over from Ranieri for a couple months and we started playing like we cared about the club again.

But don't make the mistake of giving it to him permanently. Let him take over - maybe with someone like Nige as an advisor to him if he wants to - with the explicit goal of stabilising us and getting us prepared for the new man to take over in the summer and - crucially - make an immediate start on that hiring process.

We need a whole re set....King is part of the coaching set up that has us playing some of the worst football i have seen from any Leicester side.

Bin him off along with Cifuentes.

Plenty of coaches have very little in the way of experience. What’s be supposed to do, coach the youth team for ten years first?

I’d rather we have a good manager with a track record but Top and Rudkin are incapable.

King and Pearson together would be my preferred choice but I doubt Pearson would want to deal with this shit show at his age, with his health.

Interesting.

Do the ones who are advocating Kingy simply want him as an alternative to Marti or would they genuinely prefer him to Mowbray or Rowett?

Unfortunately I cannot see him doing much better, we need a strong firm leader, Andy King is not this

I just dont think him being a 'Leicester legend' would do anything to get a tune out of the current arrogant squad.

They've got no loyalty to the club, or appreciation of its history wether distant or recent.

The youth would just shrug their shoulders and the experienced first teamers have probably never heard of him outside of him being assistant to Marti.

I thought players would play for a footballing legend like RVN, however bad a manager he may be, but they didnt.

Kingy is absolutely not what we need at the minute.

We are in a relegation battle and we need an experienced manager. Keep him round the club to gain experience and he can potentially take over down the line. Now is not the time.

Love Kingy but no thanks. He should be looking for a new job outside of City along with the rest of this management team.

He can maybe come back in a few years if he proves he can actually coach / manage, because there has been no evidence of this thus far.

Points deduction potentially puts us in the relegation zone, these next few months could be crucial for the clubs survival and people want someone who’s never managed before?

Loved him as a player but I cannot see him firing up the ego’s in our dressing room for a relegation scrap, his temperament seems even softer than Ricardo
