Sting Posted 2 February Posted 2 February This guy is honestly hardly going to play, so are we signing him for his influence on the dressing room, or to coach our centre Half's how to defence. Totally baffling to me. 1
AKCJ Posted 2 February Posted 2 February Just now, Sting said: This guy is honestly hardly going to play, so are we signing him for his influence on the dressing room, or to coach our centre Half's how to defence. Totally baffling to me. He's a lot better than the other defenders we currently employ. Plus Andy King's comments regarding Vestergaard sounded to me like he's not wanting to hang around.
Foxes96 Posted 2 February Posted 2 February Is on £40k per week now, so can’t imagine his wage demands would be extortionate. Although imagine we have offered a 2.5 year deal to beat out other clubs to his signature. Absolutely seems the sort of character we need, which is the biggest plus to give the squad some fresh impetus for the rest of the season to fight relegation. Everything is so stale at the minute.

Sting Posted 2 February Posted 2 February His recent injury record says he is not going to play very many minutes on the pitch for Leicester (which was the point of him signing right ?) there is noway he is coming to Leicester match fit. Take him a few weeks to get up to speed, or risk another. It's a signing yes, massive injury, it's all a month to late, but it's classic Leicester city being reactive and not proactive Ahhh...Top, bless him.. 2

Think even if Lascelles is off the pace at worst he will be able to win headers and knock about the lumps in this league that have been terrorising us I.e Dykes, Kieffer Moore etc 3
Popular Post 21st Century Fox Posted 2 February Popular Post Posted 2 February Scouts: can we try Scandinavia this year Martyn? Glover: We’ll scout where we always scout! 10
brookfox Posted 2 February Posted 2 February If fit he’s a cracking signing; experienced, powerful, leadership, determined. Basically everything we’ve been lacking in defence. However the past few years suggest this is an absolutely massive if. Just hope whatever contract we offer reflects this. 3
Aleksz Posted 2 February Posted 2 February We've had examples of players having niggling injuries after coming back from ACL's in recent years (Ricardo, Justin, Ramsey) - Just hoping Lascelles can avoid that because he's actually exactly what we need. He can either be a Huth style signing or a Ramsey style signing. 1
TheGoldenGod Posted 2 February Posted 2 February This is Ayew 2.0 with how fans of his current club are reacting (gutted hes going) which begs the question...why??? He's not played a match for two years 🤣🤣 2

At this time more than ever we simply can't afford to tie up significant funds on a player who will rarely play. 2
suffolk fox Posted 2 February Posted 2 February Ryan Bertrand mark 2 signing all over again do we ever learn seriously....................Rinse repeat........... 2
Popular Post adam Posted 2 February Popular Post Posted 2 February This Is gonna be a disaster of a signing. Some newcastle fans on twitter are saying he is finished. No doubt he will end up with a 2 and half year deal. 6
ClaphamFox Posted 2 February Posted 2 February My hot take on this transfer is that I think Lascelles will bring much-needed experience to our struggling defence, and in that sense he sounds just what we need on paper. However, I've heard from contacts at Newcastle that he's a bit injury prone, so that may be a concern. You're all very welcome.
suffolk fox Posted 2 February Posted 2 February It's all ok drove into Seagrave in his motor with his blue badge on display in the windscreen parked in the disabled bay no problems.

BrilliantFox Posted 2 February Posted 2 February From Newcastle forum: "If we give Leicester a game away in pre-season, you'd think we'd send a big following so that'd be a bit of a gesture." They talk about him like how we talk about Albrighton
