Why isn’t this on sky tonight?

Because the original fixture was a 15.00 Saturday KO.

Don't know why but think I might actually go tonight unless I have a last minute change of heart. That said if we end up 2 down by half time I'll head home. Can't believe I'm saying that but this is where  at with the club at the moment.

If I had a ST and lived within 30 mins drive of the KP, I probably would go tonight. But only because it’s not on TV. As it is, I live 150 miles away and I don’t have a ticket so I’ll happily not watch. Good luck to you brave souls who do go.

Because they have far better games to choose from. What neutral wants to watch Leicester v Southampton.

0-3 defeat tonight I think. 0-3 down by half time.

Well it’s not unheard of so wouldn’t be a great surprise.

Maybe just maybe this is the one we play with 11 for the full 90 and sneak a 2-1 win. For some unknown reason, I'm quietly optimistic.  Maybe I just like a good dollop of egg on the face.

Ive got a season ticket, and if I lived in the flats opposite the stadium I still wouldn't go.

I don't think we'll see Page starting many games now with Aribo available

Aribo won't be starting tonight, or on Saturday though.

I have previously commented that if we'd have kept 11 men on the pitch against Charlton and Birmingham we'd have got something out of both games. I felt there was a difference between how the players were responding to King compared to how they were playing under Cifuentes. Assuming we keep 11 men on the pitch, tonight will tell us whether I was right or if King is just Marti redux. It feels like a pivotal night for both King and the club.

We will get a good dry humping tonight, which will quickly become a non-consensual, moist humping when it starts tipping it down in the second half.

In 10 years we have gone from an 'embarassment of riches' to being 'rich in embarassments'.

If they were playing this game in the back garden, i would draw the curtains. Or at least I would if i didn't have a set of rather natty blinds.

I also think for some stranger things reason we will win today. We’ve been on a losing streak for a while and every other club has turned it around and we are due. It’s Southampton after all.

Here's the worst team i can think of for tonight.

It would suck so hard that the gravitational pull would rip a hole in the space time continuum and transport us all back to the opening bars of (the unnervingly prescient) 'Time To Say Goodbye' as it started up at the end of the 2016 season.

Stolarczyk

Aluko Nelson Lascelles

Reid Choudhury Skipp Thomas

Ayew Daka Mavididi
