Crazy to think we missed our best 3 players today and yet we still battered Stoke, Luke Thomas giving them free points.

That is very, very generous to Lascelles and pretty mean to Mukasa!

I was pretty impressed. Nowhere near as attritional as I thought it would be and seemed to get way more energy out of the players. Let's see if it continues, but I saw signs of life at least!

Rowett half time team talk vs Marti like night and day.

Two be fair Vestergaard has probably been one of our better players this season.

Him, James and Fatawu definitely make this team better.

And we're 22nd in the table, yet looked like a team in the top-half.

The difference in quality between our attacking and defending is shockingly high, which is why we've not been winning games.

We've scored more goals than 15 teams in the league, its the conceding part we need to sort out.

Our defending is so bad we conceded twice against a team with 3 goals and 4 losses in their last 6, with 10 injuries

He tweaked the pressing structure second half - had Monga sit on the wingback more and pressed with three instead of the 442 shape that was being used in the first half I believe.

His using Aribo wide didn’t surprise me either - my understanding is he likes to use a more central midfielder on one flank to give a bit of flexibility in terms of shape - I reckon we’ll see more of that going forward.

What, you mean a manager actually managing….?

It was a typical game we've played all season, one terrible half, one good half. Rowett's job will be to get a good 80-90min performance from us. If he can manage that, we'll win enough games. The other thing is he'll need to sort our defending out. Okoli and Thomas = conceding lots of goals.

2nd half was much better but we have played well for 45 minutes in so many games this season, however that 1st half was appalling and we could have been 3 down.

Nice to see a good reaction at half time but we have drawn to a an injury ravaged Stoke side and only bothered to turn up for 45 minutes. There are some positives but a long long way to go.

We were away from home against a Mark Robins side who still managed to bring on Nzonzi, Manhoef, Rak-Sakyi and Ben Gibson.

We have our own injuries too.

If Stoke came in at HT more than 1-0 up it would’ve flattered them. They just crossed it constantly.

Our second half was better than their first half.

We deserved to win.

It was Rowetts first game after less than half a week at the club.

This was completely tongue in cheek due to the people that said she same thing about King after 2 seconds

In all fairness to him/her, my own sense of irony has been dulled by months of certain people claiming that we were too good for this league, followed by months of certain people claiming that things weren't nearly as bad as they seemed, followed by outright panic everywhere, from everyone.

Even after just one game in charge, you can sense the shift in energy and aggressiveness. We were much quicker and more willing to attack the opposing box.

There's plenty of positives to take from today's game. I also think the players are finally smelling the coffee.

If Rowett can sort out our atrocious defense (somehow; 1,6 goals against per league game is terrible), we should be fine.

I am not criticising Rowett and fair play to him for the 2nd half performance but I didn’t think it was transformational and overall yet again another game of 2 very different halves. Speaks more that he has got a massive task on his hands to get any sort of consistency out of this group.

I’ve taken to him better than the last three managers already.

I’d be inclined to keep him regardless next season. He’ll be a level above in L1.

No doubt he will shoulder the blame for our relegation to shield those really responsible and be released….

We also have quite a few out. James, fatawu, vestergaard, Ayew, souttar, Ramsey, would all be in a match day squad if fit.

One thing I liked is that he sounded enthusiastic in his post match interview and he wasn't bull crapping out his mouth. He said we struggled and said Devine was probably trying too hard. He recognises the issues.

Just a shame Thomas is such an uncooked pancake and a weak link.

A much bigger test on Tuesday in Middlesbrough, so that will test his ability to get the most out of the squad as Middlesbrough will be ruthless.

Just standard defending for Leicester.  Rubbish

I imagine Marti is a bit of an oversharer at HT, talking at the players for 15 mins. The reaction today was very encouraging and would indicate that has kept the message simple, shared what he was not happy with and most importantly encouraged. I think it was Arsene Wenger who said that at HT he could only get over a maximum of 2 instructions. Anymore than that and players would have attention drift.

Some mighty over reactions on here lol

Second half fair enough that’s where we need to be, first half was abysmal and we are lucky Stoke hasn’t got out of sight.
