Not sure yet, early days, he has definitely improved us and made us more stable at the back but I think it’s a bit of a crossroads, as I am not sure long term he is the right fit especially given his reluctance to utilise the younger players at his disposal.

Potentially he will have to use the young lads next season as so many senior players will be leaving, but you’re right we’ve definitely improved under his management.

I don't see why not.

Ultimately will make no odds whilst Top/Rudkin are running the show.

He's a good Championship manager which is where we will be.

You know what if we stay up. I think you might be right ;)

NOPE!  Anyone who says yes is Rudkin in disguise.

Going to repeat myself from a few weeks ago

"Absolutely not."

"Much better managers will be available in the summer."

"Why recruit a Technical Director if he's unable to bring his own head coach in?"

"We as a fanbase constantly bemoan our ownership for thinking short-term and making impulsive decisions, we should be relieved that Rowett is only on a 6 month contract and won't be extended."

We should definitely keep him, we badly need stability.

However we won't keep him, the recruitment of the geezer from Man City means that we will be looking for someone to play tippy tappy & bore everyone to death

Depends on what funds are like. If we are going to struggle to bring good players in then if hes done a good job of turning things around then yes keep. If financially there are real opportunities for improvement and real credible ambition then i think its worth holding fire and seeing whats out there. Thats not a no, but it is a 'depends'

I think he is the kind of manager who will want players that are ready made for the championship. I'd imagine it would be similar to what Eustace has done at Derby. Maybe that is what we need. However, it would be disappointing if we don't see any signs of a road map for academy players. If we stay up, I'd happily take a boring season of being a mid table championship side after the season we've had.

We more importantly need an identify and strategy for the team set by a sporting director, and then identify a manager who suits that.

Gary’s job is to keep us up

No because it won’t be long until the fans turn on him. Scrapping draws and grinding our results works when fighting relegation but if our aim is promotion and therefore our mentality changes then the football won’t be deemed good enough.
