It’s been cagey, but both Stevenage and Stockport are beating us next year on this showing

I wouldn't fancy us against Stockport but Stevenage are a terrible side. My step dad is a sth at Wigan and he said they are by far the worst team they played this season.

What’s the betting that in 4 weeks time we are in exactly the same position?

Rowett still lingering with no announcement.

No solid rumours about exits or arrivals.

No solid rumours about a new manager and coaching staff.

Andy Hughes and Sadler still stinking the place out.

Rudkin faffing and Bottom playing Polo while pretending to be a good businessman.

I think the entire club will stagnate now until early July.

Crazy when you consider the transfer window opens on the 15th June, which is just over a month away.

Looking at our previous Summer Manager appointments under King Power, no real pattern. If anything, Maresca and Cooper were done at a time to aid the squad prepare for pre season.

Sousa - 7th July

Ranieri - 13th July

Maresca - 16th June

Cooper - 20th June

Cifuentes - 15th July

If they are not working their arses off to sell players, settle contracts and reduce costs they should be fired.  It takes time to hire a new manager, but that doesn't mean nothing needs to happen in the meantime.

Course we are. Recent top flight winners and FA Cup winners plus only played in the third tier once before so a lot of fans, like Salford, won't have been to our place. Wasn't so bad last time because Leeds were in the division with us but we will be the biggest club in the league next season.

So, first time league games against AFC Wmbledon, Bromley, Burton, Stevenage and Wycombe? With possibly Salford to come. Not sure about Chesterfield or Mansfield, maybe in the early Football League seasons?

12:30 kick offs are the absolute pits. Tv companies should have to pay the fans for each time a game is moved.

And how many people actually watch all

these games ?

Clash with a PL game usually which the pubs show and well even at home you can only watch one at a time generally.

Presumably Sky and the EFL don’t care as the money is already paid up from the tv deal and subscribers.

Thing is in league 1 it’s like 2 million quid a year tv deal so it’s not even worth it. For Leicester I’d say we lose more when a kick off is changed.

I can imagine anyone is interested in most EFL games especially below the championship

Go out Friday night, stay in strip club and casinos. Walk into Spoons. Match ready by 12.30. What's the issue?

Stevenage and Bradford are the only two new grounds for me in League One. Potentially a third if Salford win the play-offs. A very rare instance of 2025/26 not pissing me off.

I goes without saying, that we desperately need to get out at the first attempt.

I've never been Valley Parade so actually looking forward to this.

For the past decade or so I've been wishing for them in the Cup every season but now it's a league fixture, thanks to King Power for that :teehee:

Anything other than a league and paint trophy double would be an abject failure.

Best I can offer is 15th place and a 4th round away defeat to Walsall.

It is supposed to be a really good away trip, although I have never been. Looks like they allocate up to 1800
