Obviously this was going to happen. It is a carbon copy of the Rangers debacle and exactly what was expected by anyone sentient.

The SPL is League One level with two teams with stand out squads. He managed to lose to this sort of opposition with one of those stand out squads there, as he is here. Shocker.

Appalling appointment. Just when you think our owners and board couldn't make any worse decisions they surpassed themselves by appointing this turgid cockwomble.

Slow car crash inevitable.

Who could have predicted this? Oh yeah, the majority of the fan base who knew he wasn't good enough at any level.

The whole "best we can get" argument some fans made was so f***ing stupid, you sign a striker who's scored 1 goal in the Premier League, don't expect him to score 25 in the Championship.

I was thinking this. It's up there.

Its certainly not the worse result in our history as we are in the same league, but we are definitely in the worse position as a team and club in our  history absolutely useless in every department

I was willing to give him a chance after the 'false dawn' win v Plymouth in the week but surely no way back for him with this result?? - coupled with the Burton defeat already no less. When we were lifting the FA cup 5 and a bit years ago and finishing 5th in the Prem. both the teams we've lost at home to were in League Two!

Yeah, hes got to go. It's not acceptable for Leicester City FC to be losing to Oxford and Burton fookin Albion at home within a matter of weeks.

Not to mention failing to beat the giants of the game MK Don's and being outplayed by Notts County.

The rot runs far deeper than the manager we all know that but this is not the club or the league for Russell Martin Ball.

Wish we'd kept Rowett, much as I dislike him as a person and manager, because his teams prioritise defending and the basics and that's what we need.

And failing that there's plenty of lower league managers with potential who would jump at the chance to manage LCFC, ie David Artell at Grimsby, Stevenage manager. Get Steve Cooper back. Anything, just someone who doesn't have the potential to tank like Martin is, stabilise us in mid table, focus on getting King Power and Rudkin out and be in touching distance of pushing for promotion when the new owners arrive.

Rowett was a disgrace though in terms of his choices with personnel (culture) and his approach to games. Could have seen him doing a decent job but he absolutely fluffed it

Worst result in our history?

Without doubt. Last time we were at this level we lost 4 games all season (only 1 of which was a home game and the opposition made the play off final).
