SB87_LCFC Posted 20 July Posted 20 July He's travelling to Spain with the squad, so perhaps anything being done will have to wait.

bald reynard Posted 20 July Posted 20 July (edited) I see Souttar has flown out to Spain with the rest of the squad - so no imminent transfer. Edited 20 July by bald reynard

Could certainly understand that we didn’t put a clause in for league 1 ! 1

Are relegation clauses division specific(ie prem to champ specific)/are they a one hit kind of thing(only one relegation reduction and then none for following relegations)? genuine question, not being facetious 1

He was also told after we signed him he was to stay for one season and then we were selling him, he got injured and that was that. Probably some PSR fiddle that back fired. Bloke has been messed around from day one.

Bloke has been messed around from day one. Hes only played what could be considered two full seasons of football in nearly 10 years of playing. It's hard to believe hes a 15million fiddle, rather than a bad signing overall.

Doesn’t mean a huge amount in the grand scheme of things other than we won’t have agreed a deal. Could be a tactic to get more money when everything has been agreed, to get him to drop his demands etc etc etc.
Sly Posted 21 July Posted 21 July So he’s linked to: Stoke Sheffield United Wrexham West Ham Asking price is £12m 1

He’s not one I would want to leave as there’s plenty that need to go before he’s considered imo. We should offer him the captaincy and build the squad around him but you just know Hamza will be the new captain of the sinking ship.
Haywood_6 Posted 21 July Posted 21 July I think there's a good chance Faes, Souttar, Nelson all leave. Leaving Okoli as our only senior CB who treats the ball like a frag grenade. 1 2
MPH Posted 21 July Posted 21 July Taking him to Spain is a classic bargaining tactic. Helps give the imagine that we hold the cards for his sale, no one else. He could leave before day 2 if the right offer comes in 2

5waller5 Posted 21 July Posted 21 July I’m not sure going to Spain means anything at all. The nature of transfers are unreliable / unpredictable so the selling club have the attitude “you’re our player until you’re not, so we carry on with our preparations and ignore the noise” 3

AKCJ Posted 21 July Posted 21 July 10 hours ago, Sly said: So he’s linked to: Stoke Sheffield United Wrexham West Ham Asking price is £12m None of them are paying £12m. We paid that when his stock was high in a January transfer window desperate to stay in the Premier League. Since then he's played about 20 minutes of football for us and has probably cause irreparable damage to his ankle in the meantime.
