I agree, but what do we do if we get through and he's suspended for Argentina (or Switzerland) if he puts a late one in after tiring in the closing stages though? Maybe overly cautious but he's the one player I think we're bolloxed without, moreso than Kane.

If we get to 65-70 mins and we're ahead I think we have to do it, even if it stunts our attack somewhat. If we're not, take the gamble of keeping him in there but I'll be mentally preparing for him to get a soft yellow for some bullshit and us to be without him for a massive test in the semis.

I don’t mind those subs. Madueke has done about as much as me in this game. Rice apparantely has been unwell this week and looked out on his feet. 
 

I do like Tuchels subs, he does seem to know what the team needs and when it needs it.
