I don't think that it's applicable in this case. Burnley argued that had the points deduction that Everton received been applied in the same season of the rule infringement then it would have changed the outcome of the season. Had we gotten our points deduction in the same season we broke the rules, we still would have finished above Leeds.

Had Everton received their points deduction in the correct season we'd have remained a Premier League club and none of this would have happened.

We're also destined to become the 5 largest City in England, true it'll be the same people going to games but we're seen as a parochial city just a bit bigger than a town.

5th biggest?

They will never let us compete with the "big boys" again.

If everyone starts suing eachother I can see the whole thing collapsing to be quite honest - and they won't be able to control it as closely. Just a thought, obvs not based on much

I get what you’re saying, Leeds will use different equally founded evidence and will be presenting their case differently to Burnley.

And they do have a point, as do we.

it’s not as straight forward as many on here seem to think.

Whether there is or isn't is not the point. It's whether or not there is a buyer that ticks more boxes than KP and I think there is.

So one box then.

it’s literally the biggest miss management of a professional football club in history and that is not a low bar.

The following year we'd have been able to compete as a Premier League club and been in a far greater position to mitigate PSR issues with the extra income that brings.

Rather depressingly, it's not even close to being the biggest mismanagement of a club in England in the last thirty years or so.

But it is almost certainly the biggest mismanagement of a club the size of this, in the position we were in. In England anyway, I don't follow football in other places nearly well enough to know.

I hope Rudkin stays in his role after the club is sold.

:crylaugh:

Keep him in the club but put him in charge of polishing the unflushable turds in the men's bogs in SK2.
