You buy us over Derby any day of the week tbh

The blokes a bit of a lunatic by all accounts so I would be more concerned if I were a derby fan.

Already feeling in advance for KPFC types. Imagine you’ve just been brainwashed by King Power for a decade and then you get sportswashed by dodgy Middle Eastern owner. They’ll not know which way is up (that’s if they do already).

I would doubt any KPFC type knew which way was up long before KP arrived.

Derby completely free of debt relatively speak. Existing owner done a superb job in saving his club but doesn’t have the fortune to continue it

I think our biggest selling point is Seagrave the best training ground in Europe by all accounts Derby’s is a portacabin near Branston 😉:ph34r:

From what I understand, the sale of club would involve the academy/club etc but not the actual physically training ground- it would be leased. I am jealous of Derby’s position and so should you be.

And that is where we are. I would much prefer a local businessman/ consortium to take control but I doubt any can afford it.

Moor Farm has fantastic facilities for a club of their, and to be fair, our size. I was really impressed when I visited. Nothing compared to the Seagrave health club and spa, but then ours is newer and shinier.

If you were looking to invest in a club that had the infrastructure in place, that was up for sale at a low rate, they'd be the one.

They could build a decent functional only training ground for £140m

Maguire claiming on his pod that Top is considering a sale but has too high a valuation for the club and putting potential buyers off.

Aiyawatt is clueless. His own stupidity is going to cost him big time when we are in administration due to his incompetence.

Clickbait nonsense - Maguire isn't connected to any potential buyers of LCFC, he is just repeating the known trend that Top is a dick.

He don't need a conection to the club to know what Top wants.

A connection to someone thats enquired is all it takes.

Flop seems to have learned little about business from his father why KP replaced him as CEO, I’m not surprised he’s overvalued us he hasn’t got a clue makes you think this selling up facade is a smoke screen to appease the fans into thinking he’s selling up but ffs I hope he really is trying to find a new owner because with him & Rudkin in charge we could be in Administration before the middle of next season if not sooner ?

Really wish people would stop taking Kieran Maguire & Stefan Borson seriously.

They know little, have few contacts & are clearly on the make.

They always appear to be wrong...

So has he not got a clue, or is he capable of a fiendishly cunning smokescreen?

Eh. I do find that he often says a bunchy of wishy washy nothing and speaks in general terms but I don't think this is entirely on him. There's a limit to what he can ever know or say but he's constantly asked for comment and interviews and has built a profitable side business on social media. He needs more content than he can even realistically have.

But from what I have read or watched him say, in my experience he tends to be right about us fairly often.

I've certainly learned to trust his takes more than the happy clapping City fans in denial that quickly jump to claim he knows nothing every time he claims our finances are a ****ing mess.

You could get away with that argument five or six years ago before the evidence presented itself but people still denying it now are unhinged.

Yes and if you read it properly I said he won't have any connections with anyone that has potentially enquired or received an IM, they would also be bound by a NDA. Its garbage

Worryingly this is the same that was said about Chansiri at Wednesday, his valuation

of the club was way in excess of what it was worth and as a consequence frightened off interested parties ……and we all know how that panned out.

We are one of the bigger stories in football finance currently. We are obviously in real strife. What do people expect him to say?

Just because the recent trend is to ignore or discredit experts, it doesn't mean he has an agenda or is way off the mark for clickbait purposes.

So you think he's pretending we are for sale, to get the fans off his back...when ultimately if we aren't sold in the near future we could potentially go into Admin and he wouldnt receive a penny? That's an expensive way to go about it. He's thick, but not that thick.

Sorry crossed wires.

I was just talking about we definatley have a buyer intrested

Was not bothered who it is.

Ah, I don’t know if there definitely a buyer interested, all I’ve been told is, as per the FT article but the “interested party” are rumoured to be from Abu Dhabi, so from that I’ve made an educated stab at who it might be.

I'd be genuinely concerned by some of the names being mentioned. I completely understand that it takes people with that level of wealth to transform a football club financially, but I also think there has to be a line somewhere. For me, some of the ethical issues involved are difficult, if not impossible, to overlook, regardless of the potential benefits on the pitch. I'm sure I'm in the minority on this, and everyone has their own line in the sand, but that's where I stand.
