Didn’t he give away two penalties that game? Was there also a red card there too, maybe not for him but I swear I remember that? My age could be playing on me now.

I don’t really remember the Bristol City game so maybe similar happened there, but I reckon you might be thinking of Ben Mee’s debut on loan from Man City against Millwall, that had the two penalties conceded.

I reckon we get alleyne on a loan, obligation to buy on promotion, with a 20m buy back clause. Similar to what they did with James Trafford. We have been linked and being in a team that seeks to dominate will help him rather than being in a more chaotic championship team. He was badly found out last season when he was recalled so clearly has a lot of developing to do, and he's 21 years old, which is crunch time for a burgeoning professional cb. Don't rule it out.

Absolutely no chance.

This seems positive.

Glad to have 2 left footers to compete for the LB spot. I’d look to move Coulibaly on and have Aluko and Joseph as RB options. Unless Joseph needs another loan in which case you keep Coulibaly.

It makes for quite a young selection of full backs collectively but if, when the centre backs start to move, we can bring some experience to guide them then it should balance out.

If he can be anything like our last LB Christian then it’s all good!

This is a round peg in a round hole type of signing. If they keep making those I might even lay off criticising everything for a little while. Key word is might.

Got 5 goals in 15 last season for Man City's U21s. Obviously that's a weak level but it's a good sign. Thomas isn't getting that for example, just isn't his game.

@Richmondfox You asked for someone who can pass and move, not necessarily assist and score.

😂 I should’ve been more detailed in my scouting request. Pass and move forwards and run into space. Albrighton style. Bonus points for beating a man and crossing first time instead of cutting back to try and beat him again just to pass backwards.

We need at least two new contestants to join Mavadidi in the step over challenge after losing Monga and Fatawu.

50% of the stink our walking football defence have gone, hopefully Thomas will be replaced and we can see some actual attacking play from the wing.

The sentiment of Hamza and Thomas being local/academy shouldn’t be more important than ability and impact.

I do like the idea that we play with two super athletic fullbacks that are happy to get forward in McFarlane and Aluko.

Obviously we'll start the season with Hamza and Thomas though because that's the sort of thing we'd do.

Ok so now if Luke Thomas still starts over this guy (let's face it, we could have bought Phil Neville now and it would have still been an improvement) we will know that Luke has something on the Owners/Rudders - I would say Luke (pound for pound) has been our worst "first team player out of the acadamy" ever

You don’t go back far do you?
