But that doesn't mean that just having a name like Tommy Watson means you get to be a professional footballer.

Have to admit i didnt know much about him, but was impressed that he was willing to drop a division to be part of the dream to get us back where we belong.

 

Whats become completely apparent, is that he is complete garbage with the ball and that moment for Sunderland is the best his career is going to get. He puts a shift in, and gets in good positions. But everytime he gets the ball i feel like sitting down, because i know nothing is going to happen.

 

He is keeping some seriously good youth talent out of the first team, and isnt nailing his chance. I would sooner see Hutchinson or Carr today, or even better Evans. Really not fussed if he is completely dropped and sent back down south in January, and i never hear of him again.

Absolutely honking cameo beyond the depths of shit. You'd be embarrassed by that on Friar Lane after a skinful on a Sunday morning. Not just today either, but every time he's played, it's quite worrying that a footballer can't kick a ball properly. You'd think that would have been flagged up somewhere by now. Literally passes the ball to the keeper every time he shoots. Takes an age to think about what to do. Burns on the other side was hardly any better. As others have said, Riley Carr had a great pre season on the right, while this mug has took his place. Lundstram was an imposter today when Neale could have played and why isn't Hutchinson on the bench instead of Bobby fvcking Reid. 

 

Also we signed a Finnish 19 year old for 2 million yes 2 MILLION pounds in league one that's like ten million in the championship and when you're in financial shit it's like 20 million. It's a lot of money. Clubs like Barnsley would never dream of signing anyone for 2 million. We've signed him and never play him but Wout I have wanted to leave for the last 3 seasons Faes walks back into the team just because no club was stupid enough to buy or loan him in the whole summer. The list of endless bollocks decisions this club makes is getting ridiculous. And then to top it off me and my lad were 2 of the 4 and a half thousand idiots who wasted another day of our weekends and lots of money watching the most expensive league one team ever struggling against ten men nobodies. The manager, on millions of quid, has the cheek to be sarcastic after we rightly lambast another pathetic showing. I've given so much time effort and money to this club and it's just not fun anymore. The only highlight of the day was the coach we were on going the wrong way to the coach car park and trying to go down a narrow no entry road holding up traffic in 4 directions. We then had to go round the one way system again and had a nice second tour of Barnsley.

Alves, Braybrooke, Joseph, Page, Aluko are miles better than any of the Brighton loanees, and I dare say if Neale and Carr are given a chance they'll also prove themselves to be better.

Not really, I would prefer Howell being dropped for Cullen over Alves. 

 

We don't have enough goal scorers in the team, so I understand RM playing Cullen over Howell and this has been proven correct with 2 in 2, but should be 3 in 2.

 

I watched the highlights again, at 1-0 up Alves, Braybrooke, had good chances to score. Lundstram also had a good chance 2nd half, but couldn't control and then Cullen should have scored with the best chance of them all. 

 

The first 3 aren't natural scores, RM has built a team of similar  technicians but only Riis looks like he'll score more than 15 this season. 

 

I really like Alves, Braybrooke and Page, I'll give RM credit for playing them but they have got to start scoring regularly to repay the faith he has shown in them. 

 

As usual we dominate possession, create maybe 2/3 big chances, only take 1 and gift the opposition a goal.

He was signed for a fee that may rise to 2 million Euros. We haven't paid £2m up front.

 

The issue today was as it has been all season. We get caught out with the stupid playing it around the back and then Martin refuses point blank to change the formation or tactics. Against 10 men and we don't go two up front when needing a winner? Madness.
