I’m going to guess at that time there wasn’t concrete interest possibly so we looked at reintegrating him. The fact this has come out of nowhere suggests it may have progressed very quickly.

How embarrasing for Wout's agent Bob Claes that despite us trying to offload him, and him wanting to leave, for 2 years the best move he could get was the career dead-end of the fuching UAE Pro League, ranked by Opta as weaker than the leagues of Albania, Guatemala and Honduras, and barely any better than the Colombian and Ecuadorian 2nd tiers.

He could have probably gotten a move to a Championship side but wasn’t willing to reduce his wages

Am I right in saying that he was our 2nd longest serving player? Behind Thomas who is also derided.

He apparently nearly went to a Danish team in the last window but they couldn’t shift a player, but yeah this would be very funny had he not stank the place out for years.
