Was my first thought. Given Martin thus far has kept players out of the team if there’s even a whiff of interest, I’m assuming this one came out of nowhere - especially given it’s their deadline day today.

Haha his one appearance at Barnsley was definitely worth it then 😂 

 

His career has most certainly tanked as well. Probably being paid ok, but who worth their salt will touch him ever again?

There's some absolute dregs in that league right now lol

 

Seferovic, Milivojevic, Talisca, Benteke, Tadic, Taremi.

 

Proper past-it players and he's gone there in what theoretically should be his peak, or approaching, at 28y/o lol

I know everyone will just be delighted to see the back of him but I hope this question gets asked of Martin. If he was forced to play him in a competitive game just to prove his fitness to another club then it really does show what a tinpot club we've become
