Positives? Riis isn't much of a player but he scores goals. Alves can actually run with the ball. And I managed to stay awake through the whole game.

That was very League One. The spartan crowd, the desultory atmosphere, the awful defending, the desperate lack of quality in the final third. It felt like the end of Goodfellas when Henry Hill picks up the newspaper from his doorstep and realises that the good times are well and truly over and that life is just going to be infinitely duller from now on, and there’s not a damn thing he can do about it.

Great match, great result, an entertaining 90 minutes of football and a win that makes a real statement in the league.

Incredible how bad some of the teams are in this league. Was like playing an u21 team. Having said that we will struggle against anyone half competent, we do not look good. Said it a few times but there is no pace in the team. Needs to be addressed in Jan

Yes we will concede big chances in every game, but the quality in this league means most will prob end up like the wigan strikers pass to mccarthy when he was clean through

Page and Braybrooke are quality players Alves looks decent and Ris is a great aqusition at this level but the rest of the team are a mix of bang average and piss poor.

However we have won three out of four and most of the teams in this league are probably as shite as we are so we might just scrape into the playoffs!

Genuinely is walking football, it blows my mind that anyone would want to be recognised by this style of play. I really cant wrap my head around it, its so anti-competitive.

I think some of his good work goes unnoticed, he is very intelligent at picking up pockets of space, then either linking play or driving with the ball. 
 

If he improved his end product, then he’d get more praise.

Think a lot of comments about the game are harsh. Personally think there’s a lot of fans that have PTSD fatigue and have forgotten what it’s like to actually just enjoy a win.

That's one thing about non PL sides I've noticed since we've fell down the pyramid is that they miss big chances so much more often.

To be fair, we're a quarter of the way through the season. It's totally expected that we've played a couple of the teams in the bottom 4.

We arent a league one team with a championship squad so the recent form is decent considering the players for the most part are shite or young. 

 

Happy enough with the win it was always going to be low quality

Probably an oversight but you can't forget Doyle. More so than Smallbone. Also special mention for Kanga.

These 4 have to be starters and if any of them gets injured we've got an issue. 

 

Page and Smallbone can probably take turns although Page I feel is better on the ball. 

 

Defensively still shite and a half decent team punishes us.

he most certainly didnt. booked early. constantly gave the ball away or put team mates under pressure. he had a terrible game as did Souttar and OHora.
