Some of the takes on the LCFC / transfer sub are borderline brain dead - stop paying people’s wages? They do believe it’s against employment law, right?

Then there’s cancel X player’s contract.. why would we do that when we could get a fee rather than paying the rest of their remaining wages? Don’t get me started on SWAP DEALS!

Too many people thinking it's like a game of Football Manager.

Meal surcharges on pub menus.

Went out for lunch on Sunday at a local pub and the half the menu had additional surcharges for some premium dishes like Steak £5, Lamb £2.50, cheeseboard £2.50pp.

What the point on putting them on a 2 for £20/ 3 for £25 offer if you're putting supplements on 50% of the mains and some puddings 😅

People who don´t know me and call me "buddy" or "bud" the first time they talk to me (perhaps I don´t like it because I´m 60)

People who go "yeah yeah yeah" after someone else has said something

Blokes who wear shorts in the winter. You don´t look cool and you don´t look hard, so stop it!

I've never felt so called out! lol

I dont think any of these are that bad, but why on earth does other people wearing shorts bother you?

I occasionally think "you're mad wearing shorts" but if that's what they want to wear it makes no difference to me...

I´m stressed out. Tomorrow will be the last day we see legends like Daka and Ayew in a Leicester shirt and I can´t handle it lol

It puzzles me a bit as well, but I get the feeling that they think "look at me, it´s -5 C and I´m wearing shorts. Aren´t I hard?"

Anyway, leave me alone - I´m already upset that tomorrow we´ll be saying goodbye to Leicester legends like Ayew and Daka :)

It's a weird modern trend. No idea why it's gotten more common

I'm with you, especially with the "yeah yeah yeah". It means "shut up, I'm not listening".

A very Rio Ferdinand thing before you found out Rio Ferdinand did it.

The state of “fresh” herbs in supermarkets. Wasn’t that long ago you could buy a bunch of parsley, now you get a few stalks and offcuts. All for 50% more money than 5 years ago!

Much cheaper to grow your own parsley from seed

Depends, the levels of superstitiousness in southern and eastern europe and probably South America is on a whole other level to here. My girlfriend has all sorts of slightly insane rituals even when throwing rubbish out and woe betide me if I step on something in an unlucky way

Brought train tickets to London, albeit months in advance, now they've got engineering works scheduled for our return journey making the journey back to Loughborough 3 hours with 2 changes because of rail replacement buses when it should be direct. Paid the best part of £120 in total too.

It's a good (if expensive) service in general and I know the work must be essential but you're always rolling the dice going down there on a Sat; feels like at least 1 in every 3 weekends is a mess

Really benefits from relatively few stops. The capacity is a bit of a problem but 100 miles in circa an hour is one of the better services in the country.

Do they refund you if that happens? Never heard that scenario albeit I can never book trains that far in advance
