StanSP Posted 10 March 2015 Posted 10 March 2015 Love Top Gear, love the presenters. The BBC Producer can suck my camel toe. This.
BlueSi13 Posted 10 March 2015 Posted 10 March 2015 No great loss IMO. It's been absolute garbage for a long long time now. The lazy self-indulgence, the by-the-numbers scripted 'chaos' and horrific acting (not going to mention the supposed 'banter') was getting really really old. I think it will probably do Clarkson some good TBH, he's been liking the smell of his own farts for a long time now. Almost sounds like a Keys/Gray mark II to me, big cock around the office thinking he owned the place and was untouchable gets the inevitable.
johnny the fox Posted 10 March 2015 Posted 10 March 2015 clarkson is a cant.. the idea he punched some bloke is laughable....I would "out " this unfit twat with one pulled punch. why people find him entertaining is baffling to me... but taste is subjective I suppose.
MooseBreath Posted 10 March 2015 Posted 10 March 2015 Yep those scripted adventure shows really are great, just a pity some believe it all to be real, but they're Daily Mail/Telegraph readers so don't really get it. I don't think anyone fails to realise that most of it is scripted. They barely even try to hide it. Still I guess if realising something patently obvious makes you feel intellectually satisfied then keep on criticising the show for being scripted by all means.

So you don't see the humour in driving a car around argentina with a number plate H982 FKL. You've got to admit that takes some balls and is funny.

I might of watched that edition of top gear...
Tuna Posted 10 March 2015 Posted 10 March 2015 Reckon he's finishd this time. Real shame as I'm a huge fan and he makes the show. But the idiot's out of control.
sdb Posted 10 March 2015 Posted 10 March 2015 cringeworthy shite, the bloke is blatantly a complete nob.
theessexfox Posted 10 March 2015 Posted 10 March 2015 Apparently some guy didn't have his food ready on time and he lost it.
Finnegan Posted 11 March 2015 Posted 11 March 2015 I understand why people dislike him but people who are outraged or offended by every slip he comes out with generally irk me. He's been around long enough that he shouldn't shock or surprise anyone anymore. You can't really lamp someone in the work place and expect to not be punished though. Shouldn't use the fact he has the beeb over a barrel to get away with assault IF it is true. Despite his politics, I like Clarkson and I like top gear but this one will be hard to ignore.
Bellend Sebastian Posted 11 March 2015 Posted 11 March 2015 I'm sure he'll forge a great post BBC career. Just like Chris Moyles
Guest Col city fan Posted 11 March 2015 Posted 11 March 2015 I find Clarkson, May and Hammond compliment each other brilliantly. The bit about leaving Hammond for days in the Canadian Rockies had me in stitches. I love the show, always have, find it mostly hilarious and the BBC producer is most probably the kind of bloke that Clarkson would detest. I hope the show is brought back, Clarkson and all.

When Hammond scalded himself with the pine tea, that was genuine anger and very funny. The Peugeot bit the other week, I couldn't stop laughing. I'm sure Clarkson is a genuine nob but so are many rock stars and they wouldn't be the same if they were down to earth I imagine it'll blow over or reappear on another channel. Far too huge an audience to just bin off and no one would watch it if it was other presenters - who watches Fifth Gear? No one. I don't know if that shit is still even broadcast

I notice you've taken out the bit about you probably wanting to lamp the person too in favour of something that makes you look like less of a pillock

separator Posted 11 March 2015 Posted 11 March 2015 Clarkson punched Piers Morgan a few years ago so he's not all bad. Looks like the BBC are axing the remainder of the series. Shame, its one of the few things on telly I watch.
Footballwipe Posted 11 March 2015 Posted 11 March 2015 I do like Top Gear like most others. Not a huge fan of the outrage at everything. It's not a huge surprise that nearly every controversial incident has been after the explosion of social media and Twitter. It's like Brand/Ross, once one complaint is in it gains momentum whether or not it's been seen. Of course this incident is different and alleged violence so whether it spells the end is another thing. For me they do two things well personally. First they actually make me interested in supercar reviews. That kind of crap would normally bore me; why do I need to know the pros and cons of an AMG/Ferrari? Secondly they make the adventures interesting even though you know it's planned and scripted. The Canada piece was funny and was treated more like a skit than a proper adventure I felt. Would be a shame to see it go because it does have great moments even though it's not what it once was. I've never not enjoyed any of their trips. USA, Vietnam, Burma, Middle East, the two Africa trips, South America. And let's not forget their classic races/challenges Bugatti, Bullet Train, Van challenge, supercars for under £10k, caravan holiday, tractors. It says everything about the show with the calibre of people it manages to attract to do it. It's not a two-bit car show, it's a global success and the camaraderie with the three is what makes it. If it goes I'll miss it but the BBC desperately need to resist trying someone else if they scrap it.

It will be a major loss to Sunday night viewing. Christ knows we don't need any more reality TV or a film about Green peace freeing some more nut cutlets..or summat.
Jon the Hat Posted 11 March 2015 Posted 11 March 2015 The BBC need to grow some balls, chastise him and get on with making the shows.
bovril Posted 11 March 2015 Posted 11 March 2015 Not really my cup of tea. Trying to be politically incorrect without realising it's extremely politically correct.
MooseBreath Posted 11 March 2015 Posted 11 March 2015 Top Green Gear Samantha Pillokington Burbage and Thomas Sebastian Villaneuva present the latest in eco-friendly travel including: cycling, walking, jogging. This week's feature includes a polite visit to a home for sick dogs and we'll add another word to our wall of shame - words that we think are offensive, last week it was "meat", what will it be this week? Tune in to find out.

Whilst not really a follower of Top Gear, I would watch a programme called "Top Green Gear", only to be instantly disappointed that I had missed the point before switching back to Sky Sports News.
Parafox Posted 11 March 2015 Posted 11 March 2015 I used to enjoy TG but it's become a parody of itself. I used to like Clarkson but over time his arrogant belief that he is always right and anyone who disagrees is a ****, has become very tiresome and I think this attitude has now kicked him in the arse. I wouldn't miss it nor would I be bothered if it stayed. I'd rather they ditch the dwarf Hammond, then it would be a bit more watchable. The word **** has been starred out... that word is pr1ck
Bellend Sebastian Posted 11 March 2015 Posted 11 March 2015 For old time's sake: Where's William Woollard when you need him? He's still alive and everything
