jonthefox Posted 6 February 2014 Author Posted 6 February 2014 Oh Watford, you've made my week with this. If we can't beat teams like Leicester then we deserve to go down. 2
MC Prussian Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 Oh Watford, you've made my week with this. If we can't beat teams like Leicester then we deserve to go down. They're all on the wind-up. Easily spottable by the amount of times they use the term "tinpot" in their pre-match threads. I think they're just craving the attention in order to boost their currently feeble to non-existent self-esteem. Let them be and let our team respond on the pitch on Saturday.
Dan Posted 7 February 2014 Posted 7 February 2014 They can all continue to under rate Vardy, James and the ilk if they want... they'd all walk into QPR's team They would yet your average fan wouldn't agree because some of QPR's players have 'Premier League experience'. Too many fans in this country look at the past rather than the present and future. I'd have Vardy over nearly any other forward in this league at the minute. He's phenomenal at what he does.
Dan Posted 7 February 2014 Posted 7 February 2014 There's no such thing as "a good article from the daily mail"! Their just blowing hot air up our arse.... This one defies the usual. Very decent article that doesn't chirp out the standard crap. 1
Dan Posted 7 February 2014 Posted 7 February 2014 Was just about to post exactly the same thing. 65??!!!! You've got to consider that youth players coming in won't be counted where-as youth players leaving probably will be.
El Sieffsi Posted 7 February 2014 Posted 7 February 2014 Oh Watford, you've made my week with this. We can't beat teams like Leicester and we deserve to go down. Fixed.
lgfualol Posted 7 February 2014 Posted 7 February 2014 Just read a Derby fan on Reddit complaining that it's unfair that we can spend millions and get away with FFP. Whilst Derby suffer with a cheap squad. Heheh fun
Corky Posted 7 February 2014 Posted 7 February 2014 Just read a Derby fan on Reddit complaining that it's unfair that we can spend millions and get away with FFP. Whilst Derby suffer with a cheap squad. Heheh fun Get away with FFP, which we are trimming our wage bills and transfer outlay to meet, as well as it not being enforced yet?
Manwell Pablo Posted 7 February 2014 Posted 7 February 2014 They would yet your average fan wouldn't agree because some of QPR's players have 'Premier League experience'. Too many fans in this country look at the past rather than the present and future. I'd have Vardy over nearly any other forward in this league at the minute. He's phenomenal at what he does. Vardy wouldn't get a sniff at QPR if everyone was fit. They've got about 32 strikers.
sylofox Posted 7 February 2014 Posted 7 February 2014 A Good article from the daily mail! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2553035/Premier-League-come-Why-Leicester-City-look-certs-achieve-promotion.html Hmmm and with a comment like this in the first paragraph. none more so than a drop to League One that saw the club sink to its lowest ebb in decades. If they are going to use stuff like that at least get it right FFS our lowest ebb ever.
ScouseFox Posted 7 February 2014 Posted 7 February 2014 Vardy wouldn't get a sniff at QPR if everyone was fit. They've got about 32 strikers. Yeah but the second best is Andy Johnson.
Mark_w Posted 7 February 2014 Posted 7 February 2014 Vardy wouldn't get a sniff at QPR if everyone was fit. They've got about 32 strikers. Yeah and he's better than 31 of them...
Leicfox Posted 7 February 2014 Posted 7 February 2014 I'm not sure if this has already been posted but it's a decent read nonetheless. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2553035/Premier-League-come-Why-Leicester-City-look-certs-achieve-promotion.html?ITO=1490&ns_mchannel=rss&ns_campaign=1490
Hungry Hungry Fox Posted 7 February 2014 Posted 7 February 2014 Unlike the daily fail to actually print something decent I hate the rag generally(I also hate many of its readers)
Carl the Llama Posted 7 February 2014 Posted 7 February 2014 I still can't believe a mainstream source is finally talking about us as a fiscally responsible and level-headed club. Especially one as keen to stir controversy as the DM.
lgfualol Posted 7 February 2014 Posted 7 February 2014 Ergh cant believe I just read a daily mail article. Nice one though, and the comments are mostly positive.
Steven Posted 7 February 2014 Posted 7 February 2014 I am not counting any chickens until they are hatched.
ThurnbyLodgeFox Posted 7 February 2014 Posted 7 February 2014 It comes across as if it's been written by a child, or is it just me? 1
Fox92 Posted 7 February 2014 Posted 7 February 2014 Nice comments as well at the bottom, well, apart from the person from Preston.
Deucalion Posted 7 February 2014 Posted 7 February 2014 I commented at the bottom of that article and pointed out the inaccuracy of 'the lowest point in decades' but my comment isn't shown. They don't like criticism then. Maybe they just thought I was a Bulgarian/ Romanian/ Bongo Bongoland immigrant and ignored me !!
