I don't think anybody has. His wages must be fairly comfortable, he'd have to do actual work if he were to play for either of our teams and besides which, his head's been turned by that London.

Doesnt wanna drop down to Championship, according to Sky Sports

Thank **** for that. :D

Not sure we need a fourth centre back as both De Laet and James can cover this position in an emergency and it seems Bolger is making decent progress. No point in having an academy if none of those in it progress to the first team.

Agree with this. Parkes, Moore and Bolger were all very good last night.

I've still got a feeling we will sell Beckford and buy or loan in another striker.

Possibly but if anything we won't get a striker in until a club bids for Beckford and the club in question is willing to take his wages on.

If we sell him a don't think he will be replaced at all we have to many!

And in fairness we don't need anymore, Vardy is going to need game time to get used to the Championship, he's obviously a natural goalscorer and there's no reason he shouldn't be able to make the step up. Waggy did a very good job last time he was given a proper chance as a striker in a 4-4-2 starting relativley regularly, I imagine he'll be used just as frequently this time around. Nugent proved how good he is last year, and is the player we should be looking to for goals first and foremost given his experience in this division and hopefully Futacs is going to be perfect at getting the best out of all three. We really don't need Jermain Beckford or any new strikers for the season ahead. Beckford and Nugent didn't work as a strikeforce, Nugent was obviously better last season, the obvious solution is to not start Beckford, and given his wages we can't afford to do that if we keep him. Best he moves on and gets game time, while we get a chance to move forward with some combination of Futacs/Waghorn/Nugent/Vardy I think.

We are a very good left winger and a ball winning, defensive midfielder away from a very good squad. We have too many central midfielders as it is to bring another one in but I worry we'll suffer the same problems as we have done for years in the centre if we don't get a ball winner. Danns, Drinkwater and James all appear to be able to create but they aren't strong enough to play the gritty role needed at this level. King neither fits in to either category, he scores a lot of goals and 'defensively' is very good but he's not an out and out ball winner either.

Koren probably isn't the answer either, he doesn't do the grafting very well.

Leigterwood from Reading would be ideal but I imagine he'll get in for them next season. Mark Gower from Swansea will be available but he's the wrong side of 30 and Wellens needs to go before we accomodate veterans

Hopefully Walsh has been scouting abroad and we can bring in some unknown talent to fill these 2 spots.

Completely agree with the above post, would like 2 see us go for Liam trotter from millwall, thought he was excellent against us last season

I thought Parkes looked terrible personally. Heading wasn't very good and positionally I thought he wasn't too great either. Bolger looked the better out of the two.

However, it is the start of pre - season so i think we can give him the benefit of the doubt. Would love all 3 to be on the fringes of the first team come the start

of the season.

I thought parkes looked alot more assured in his game and his passing was superb.

Ahhh how we all see the game differently. I thought his heading was dreadful, spooning it all over the place. I know the people around me agreed too.

(Not that im saying our opinion of him is correct  ) Maybe I'm asking too much from him.

Here we go....

My mate knows Luke Varneys family very well and he recently got told that Leeds & Barnsley want him. Also he's apprantley said he will never join Leicester because we told him he was t good enough when he was younger.

Hmmmm.... Looks like I was correct then.

Agree with that Parkes wanted the ball more then Bolger.

Bolger didn't look comfortable and lost the ball too much for me.

Maybe, but who says we wanted him?

If we didn't make him an offer then he wouldn't be able to turn us down.

Parkes much better of the two, probs my MOTM in the first half. He came out the defence well with speed and much more assured than Bolger who looked a bit clumsy!
