lcfcsnow Posted 6 January 2013 Share Posted 6 January 2013 Do we need another winger? Well Marshall is far from the player of last season and Dyer is Dyer, another option would be good to have.
paddy Agyemang Posted 6 January 2013 Share Posted 6 January 2013 At that price it's a steal get him in Nigel n sell gally
kyleolly Posted 6 January 2013 Share Posted 6 January 2013 I'm not surprised he's come back in a right mess, he was showing signs of mental problems last season. He hasn't got the strength of character to be a pro footballer. Sad but there it is! That's from a Hull fan I don't think we should waste £300k on somebody that since an injury hasn't been good enough for Burnley or Hull!
Ric Flair Posted 6 January 2013 Share Posted 6 January 2013 Hull play wing-backs, Stewart is not a good defender at all. That's why Hull don't want him any longer. He'd be worth a punt for that price.
kyleolly Posted 6 January 2013 Share Posted 6 January 2013 So why did he barely feature at Burnley who play 4-4-2 Ric?
Bryn Posted 6 January 2013 Share Posted 6 January 2013 Really, really not all that. Had a purple patch when he first got to Hull, didn't put a good performance in for them for months towards the end, has barely done anything for Burnley either. If he's coming in to fill the squad out fine but he's nothing special.
pazzerfox Posted 6 January 2013 Share Posted 6 January 2013 The boy has got some talent and is a confidence player. I think Nigel would know how to get the best out of him and would be a good signing. Players don't all of a sudden become useless after a bad spell, the Hull fans used to Rave about this lad, so if he could get anywhere near his best form he could be quite a signing. Happy Fox Posted 6 January 2013 Share Posted 6 January 2013 300K would be a bargain, we need another winger as we have 3 which isn't enough. Get rid of Wellens and Danns, sign Trotter which seems like it could happen Replace Gallagher with Stewart and our squad depth and quality improves. Grey Fox Posted 6 January 2013 Share Posted 6 January 2013 When did Hull decide to start selling us players again? They probably still wouldn't sell us anyone they actually wanted to keep, like they did in the past. But if they are looking to get rid of someone, I doubt they will be bothered who they sell to, including us. At that price I think he's worth a punt. Pearson seems to be good at getting the best out of certain players, for example Waghorn. If he can do the same with Stewart, then at the very least we could turn a profit on him. Guest Posted 6 January 2013 Share Posted 6 January 2013 NP was his coach. If he thinks he's good for us , I'll take Pearson's view over all of yours put together.

kingfox Posted 6 January 2013 Share Posted 6 January 2013 No thanks, was doing well at Hull, then went shit, played for Burnley against us earlier in the season, and I didn't even know he was on the pitch. Don't need him.
It's A Knockeart! Posted 6 January 2013 Share Posted 6 January 2013 If anybody can get him going, Pearson can. Worth a punt for the price. Hull are funny eh? £1.5m less than a year ago. Not as funny as Bristol City and £6m Maynard . . .
Ric Flair Posted 6 January 2013 Share Posted 6 January 2013 So why did he barely feature at Burnley who play 4-4-2 Ric? Can't answer that, was just responding to why Hull don't have a need for him.
LCFC FOX Posted 6 January 2013 Share Posted 6 January 2013 Good player under Pearson. Sing him up for 300k. When on form he will be in the team. Just unlucky that Burnley fans say hes awful and so do Hull. But we can prove them wrong. Bring in Stewart! p.s who said we are buying him? Grey Fox Posted 6 January 2013 Share Posted 6 January 2013 I'd rather sign someone who eveyone thinks is shit for a low fee, that turns out a bargain, than an over rated player for a high fee that turns out to be shit.
J.Lisemore Posted 6 January 2013 Share Posted 6 January 2013 300k with Pearson as his coach, why not? can't be any worse than gally.
dmayne7 Posted 6 January 2013 Share Posted 6 January 2013 Before we continue, Has anybody actually got a link to this rumour or are we just wasting time spectualting about a player who we're not even interested in?
TheUltimateWinner Posted 6 January 2013 Share Posted 6 January 2013 Remember he's only 21... Didn't rate him however when we played Burnley, seemed non existent. I'd rather Nige be forced to think outside the box again, if we had signed Stewart first time around we most likely wouldn't of had Knockaert. That's not thinking out of the box, that's called rejection and moving on. Bring him in, see what he has. Only 300K which is nothing for us at the moment. Get rid of Danns, Wellens and Gally to free up Stewart cash.

Bettsj2 Posted 6 January 2013 Share Posted 6 January 2013 This is a bit of an odd one. I'd be surprised if all of a sudden Hull will sell to us and at the same time, make **** all whilst doing so.
