Mark_w Posted 22 October 2013 Posted 22 October 2013 Are you just obsessed with typing my name? Pot Kettle.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 22 October 2013 Posted 22 October 2013 Are you trying to be Kingfox? I don't understand. Quality banter mate
Mark_w Posted 22 October 2013 Posted 22 October 2013 Quality banter mate Thanks, I may not have a way with words like yourself or the natural talent of the Kingfox's of this world, but I'm a tryer.

Fox92 Posted 22 October 2013 Posted 22 October 2013 Agree with Keane there. Personally don't think Sir Alex is the best manager ever. Still rate Paisley and Clough above Ferguson.
wakeyfox01 Posted 22 October 2013 Posted 22 October 2013 I often think Lampard isn't as good at retaining the ball and plays a few terrible passes. Are you actually being serious with that comment? Gerrard's ball retention is appalling. The amount of ridiculous hollywood passes he tries that never come off for England always wind me up, particularly as no-one ever picks up on it or comments but when Lampard or Cleverley etc give it away it gets jumped on.
lavrentis Posted 22 October 2013 Posted 22 October 2013 Lampard has been better for England than Gerrard.
Fox92 Posted 22 October 2013 Posted 22 October 2013 Gerrard was our stand out player during Euro 2012.
Fox92 Posted 22 October 2013 Posted 22 October 2013 Managed to fall out with a lot of players didn't he? I thought only Nigel Pearson did that?
Alf Bentley Posted 23 October 2013 Posted 23 October 2013 "She was 14, she was nude, she opened her arms, what else could a man do? We made sweet love under the stars." - page 231 I know these Northerners are all alike, but I'm afraid they've sold you the Jimmy Saville autobiography there, Matt (allegedly).
Aus Fox Posted 23 October 2013 Posted 23 October 2013 Lampard has been better for England than Gerrard. Is this actually serious I think I could count on one hand the number of quality performances Lampard has put in for England. Gerrard hasn't always played his best but offers a lot more than Lampard ever has in an England shirt.
LestaFox92 Posted 23 October 2013 Posted 23 October 2013 Sounds like fergie thinks he done everything on his own think's he's some sort of messiah or something needs knocking down a peg or two
Jordan Posted 23 October 2013 Posted 23 October 2013 Sounds like fergie thinks he done everything on his own think's he's some sort of messiah or something needs knocking down a peg or twoAlex Ferguson won a Champions League playing a 4-4-2 with David Beckham and Nicky Butt as his CM pairing; I'd say he deserves his knighthood.
Samilktray Posted 23 October 2013 Posted 23 October 2013 A lot of emotional Liverpool fans in this thread.
SystonFox Posted 23 October 2013 Posted 23 October 2013 A lot of emotional Chelsea cvnts fans in this thread.
Super_horns Posted 23 October 2013 Posted 23 October 2013 Probably some kind words about a few players in the book but the press aren't going to print those. Not a fan of Liverpool is he but then they aren't exactly keen on Fergie.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 23 October 2013 Posted 23 October 2013 He's gonna say stuff in order to make the book sellable isnt he?
The Blur Posted 23 October 2013 Posted 23 October 2013 This thread is comedy gold! One thing that I don't get is Fergie moaning about how Beckham cashed in his fame yet he is pouting bullshit just to sell his poxy book. At least Beckham are cashing in his fame partly for Victoria which is actually selfless as majority of footballers/managers expect their career to take priority over their families' careers. David chosen to move to Galaxy to boost Victoria's career in fashion.
Bert Posted 23 October 2013 Posted 23 October 2013 I'd rather be Beckham than Scholes. In the grand scheme of things, maybe. But I'd much rather have Scholes football ability than Becks.
ScouseFox Posted 23 October 2013 Author Posted 23 October 2013 In the grand scheme of things, maybe. But I'd much rather have Scholes football ability than Becks. Possibly yeah. But the whole "Beckham chose fame" thing. Becks and Scholes were two very talented youngsters growing up together in pretty similar situations etc. One chose football one chose fame. Even saying that Becks has won everything, captained his country for 5 years, record caps holder etc on the football side as well as being so famous it's hard to comprehend, has a family he loves, celebrity friends everywhere and being one of the most popular figures in the world, let alone just football. I'd say he made a pretty good decision no matter what Fergie thinks.

Not saying he wasn't a good captain (I thought he was) just that there were possibly better people that were overlooked, he's probably my all time favourite England player.
