Guest Bilo Posted 2 November 2013 Posted 2 November 2013 Holy shit, we look the real deal. Play like that for the rest of the season and we'll be on the pitch in May.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 2 November 2013 Posted 2 November 2013 Holy shit, we look the real deal. Play like that for the rest of the season and we'll be on the pitch in May. Long way to go yet though
TheUltimateWinner Posted 2 November 2013 Posted 2 November 2013 What a collective performance. We are the bees knees right now
Bryn Posted 2 November 2013 Posted 2 November 2013 Fans clearly mean a lot to Knocky, it's great to see. I get the impression he's genuinely got a lot of affection for the club.
MooseBreath Posted 2 November 2013 Posted 2 November 2013 Best result of the season so far. Solid performance, bit lucky with the goals maybe, but tactically nige had Zola in his pocket and they were never really in the game A gritty, but brutally dominant performance
Guest Col city fan Posted 2 November 2013 Posted 2 November 2013 I don't know what to say! I hold my hands up, I thought we'd struggle with their 5 across the centre. But we didn't. I think it was a combination of us playing very well and they are not as good as they were last season. The effort was excellent, our fans never shut up and this is looking more and more pleasing! Brilliant day to be a City fan!!!
DennisNedry Posted 2 November 2013 Posted 2 November 2013 Looked very dangerous going forward, Wood slotted in well. Midfield all looked excellent today, as did James when he came on. You have to say that at times we looked shaky defensively, it looked a certainty that Watford would score.
FoxTrott Posted 2 November 2013 Posted 2 November 2013 Last team Watford lost to nil to at home was Cardiff last year... ... make of that what you will.
Matt Posted 2 November 2013 Posted 2 November 2013 Played brilliant, really proud. Not getting too excited or ahead of myself though, trying to keep grounded. Wood took his chance in the team well, Glad Knocky got revenge. All round great performance, we really are looking good! Long may it continue.
Guest kristianity77 Posted 2 November 2013 Posted 2 November 2013 Apart from a slightly shaky spell for 20 minutes in the second half we totally bossed that and looked very very good! We could of come out of that game 4 or 5 nil and it wouldn't have been unjust.
Guest shearfox Posted 2 November 2013 Posted 2 November 2013 That pretty much shows we are capable of getting promoted this season. Brilliant result and Pearson has learned so much... bringing in experience like GTF and Hammond...
Nick Posted 2 November 2013 Posted 2 November 2013 Holy shit, we look the real deal. Play like that for the rest of the season and we'll be on the pitch in May.
Aus Fox Posted 2 November 2013 Posted 2 November 2013 Brilliant! Danny Drinkwater you will have to go along long way to find a more complete performance from a championship midfielder pure class. 10 points clear of 7th and Watford, early days but the team looks very balanced today we missed a couple of players but you'd never guess. The depth looks there I am starting to get very excited!!!
TJB-fox Posted 2 November 2013 Posted 2 November 2013 Knocky deserved that, this is bloody brilliant! Absolutely terrific performance all round. Drinkwater and the WHOLE back 4 take the plaudits but I honestly think GTF did very well when he came on, won freekicks and obviously set up the goal.
lgfualol Posted 2 November 2013 Posted 2 November 2013 AMAZING performance. So proud of the team. Onwards and upwards! :scarf: :scarf: :scarf: :scarf:
Captain... Posted 2 November 2013 Posted 2 November 2013 Well it's not a surprise is it, we should be hammering these tin pot clubs.
Deucalion Posted 2 November 2013 Posted 2 November 2013 What a resounding result and performance !! Can't ask for much more than that. In the playoffs, Watford did look the better side. Not so today. Partly this is because Watford are not as strong this year, but that's not the only reason. Every reason for optimism this year.
Finnegan Posted 2 November 2013 Posted 2 November 2013 HAhahahahahahahahahahaha, Knockaert just had to score really didn't he? Fab.
Vacamion Posted 2 November 2013 Posted 2 November 2013 We played them off the park for the 1st half an hour, though and should have gone in 2 or 3 up at half time. Watford showed 2nd half that their Eye-ties can knock it about a bit - not many teams will do that to them. We keep that up, we should stay in the top two.
Charl91 Posted 2 November 2013 Posted 2 November 2013 Best result of the season. Just amazing. Knocky had a really good performance, had them completley bamboozled at times.
