Corky Posted 22 March 2014 Posted 22 March 2014 17 unbeaten now, 15 clear of third, still in a fantastic position.
Danno Posted 22 March 2014 Posted 22 March 2014 Stupid substitutions, should have easily won that game.
Guest Posted 22 March 2014 Posted 22 March 2014 We had enough chances to win it. just wasn't our day. 1-1 fair enough away result.
Crinklyfox Posted 22 March 2014 Posted 22 March 2014 We came for football, looks like they came for war. Not our best game by a long shot but the lads stuck at it, deserved a point at least.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 22 March 2014 Posted 22 March 2014 Could have lost, cloud have won. Certainly had some good chances, little worried about Burnley next week though. Think they will be more clinical than Blackburn and the amount of chances we gave away especially in the air was a worry.
Finnaldo Posted 22 March 2014 Posted 22 March 2014 Stupid substitutions, should have easily won that game. Really?
Benji Posted 22 March 2014 Posted 22 March 2014 Should have been out of sight in the first half. Blackburn played well second. Draw fair results at the end but shame we couldn't kill it first half.
Nugent Posted 22 March 2014 Posted 22 March 2014 Still in a great position, shame the teams closest to us all won.
BigWesMorgan Posted 22 March 2014 Posted 22 March 2014 People making out that we were battered. We had more than enough chances, Could probably have scored 5 or more on another day. No need for an overreaction, No need to change the team for Yeovil, No need to panic, Win our game in hand and it's a point closer.
Guest Posted 22 March 2014 Posted 22 March 2014 Stupid substitutions, should have easily won that game. Great subs. we were getting over run in midfield.
CPW22 Posted 22 March 2014 Posted 22 March 2014 I would of taken a point before the game. I back us to beat Yeovil and get something out the Burnley game, I think today could be a big point in the grand scheme of things.
Bryn Posted 22 March 2014 Posted 22 March 2014 Stupid substitutions, should have easily won that game. Made the right ones for me. We can't just win by divine right, they came out second half and were absolutely bulldozering us, we HAD to change the shape. Had to. Simple as that, they'd have broken us down otherwise. Really entertaining game and in the context of Rovers' second half performance and a bit of a horror show from RDL it's a useful point. Doesn't really derail us in the grand scheme of us. We still created the chances to win the game, didn't really get the rub of the green today. To Yeovil.
Nalis Posted 22 March 2014 Posted 22 March 2014 I called this scoreline before the game, still kept our unbeaten run, happy enough.
Webbo Posted 22 March 2014 Posted 22 March 2014 The subs steadied the ship while Blackburn were having their good spell at the start of the second half. Bit surprised Chris wood wasn't brought on, I thought we needed a bit more of a physical presence up front.
blueonyou Posted 22 March 2014 Posted 22 March 2014 If we can play that badly and have a typical "off day" yet still collect a point away from home, I'm happy. So should everyone else.
iamafox Posted 22 March 2014 Posted 22 March 2014 Wanted us to remain unbeaten in 17 games with a win rather than a draw but there you go.
ousefox Posted 22 March 2014 Posted 22 March 2014 Good point, should have been 3 but doesn't matter. They had a very decent spell just after the second half and that seemed to knock us a bit. Probably would have brought Phillips on instead of King, but we still had plenty of chances. That ref was a right twat too. Some bizarre and stupid decisions.
lgfualol Posted 22 March 2014 Posted 22 March 2014 Are the wheels coming off??? No, pretty good result. Before the game I would have taken that. Unfortunately, seeing all those wasted chances makes me a bit disappointed. Schlupp was brilliant.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 22 March 2014 Posted 22 March 2014 If Burnley was a big game its huge now.
Ric Flair Posted 22 March 2014 Posted 22 March 2014 Not the end of the world. All 5 teams below us have won but good grief the way things have gone for us this past 3 and a half months is unbelievable. Win on Tuesday and go and take it to Burnley on Saturday.
WhenYourSmilingLCFC Posted 22 March 2014 Posted 22 March 2014 If we can win tuesday and take something from Burnley then this turns into a decent point.
