Leonardo Ulloa (Brighton) - Bid accepted

I joined this forum because I have had a large part of my lifetime being interested in Leicester City Football Club. and I thought that by joining up with a few others who shared the same passion as my own, that I might find a friendly bunch of people and even get a little inside information prior to it breaking on the Mercury. However things as not as I hoped, all we seem to get is mostly wild speculation and pointless chatter with only the odd insightful comment or genuine friendly humour to break up the tedium. But what's worse for a group of people who all claim to support the same team it's quite pathetic that for a slight difference of opinion you get supposedly mature people who from a distance appear as they want to tear each other's heads off. While that may be bad enough for fellow City fans, just try to imagine how juvenile it must seem to rival fans such as Brighton who try to come here to instigate friendly debate.

JUST GROW UP WILL YOU, YOU ALL SUPPOSED TO BE IN THE SAME TEAM!

You haven't spent much time on the internet have you?

On the Sky Sports transfer centre.

Leicester make a £6m bid for Brighton striker Leonardo Ulloa, according to Sky sources, but Nigel Pearson told us last week he'd take his time over making more additions to his squad.

I'm warming to this more. The fact McCormack cost £11m, I guess it's just the way football is. Everyone is overpriced.

I get what you're saying but I'd be happy if we took a stance and did things differently. 6-6.5 mil tops for me

I'd be happy enough just seeing how our lot gets on in the prem. We were far too good for the championship last season and I think we'll be good enough to stay up

Now nuge has signed, i don't think we'll be interested in ulloa, but at least the brighton fans will be happy in the knowledge that at the first opportunity he'll be off.

Great news if he signs ..... He's as close to a goal in every other game striker as we're likely to get at this kind of money.

By do things differently do you mean don't compete??

Yeah exactly what I said....

And what are you basing that on?

Why judge the guy before he kicks a ball for us? Nigel will know everything about him so lets just get behind him if he signs, Nigel knows what he is doing and the top players don't want to come to us so we have take it as it is

For those who are a bit bemused at this (probable) signing...

Remember, when NP signed Vardy for £1m people thought he had gone mad?

Perhaps Ulloa is the final piece in a good front 3 (Nuge/Mahrez, Vardy, Ulloa).

We haven't got a player like Ulloa. And I doubt you can get a player like him for less than £5million. He's a target man, a totally different player to what Nugent and Vardy are. It's obvious Nige wants a target man, lets hope it happens because Ulloa really did impress me when he played against us last season.

Are you basing that on the away game then? Because frankly Stephen Hawking would have bagged a couple of goals against our shambolic defending in the home game.
