Pearson is looking for a deal worth around £3million a year which is a huge hike on what he was earning in the Championship. The experienced boss earned around £750,000-a-year plus bonuses in the second tier, so he is seeking a major rise in the big time. Pearson and the club's Thai owners are trying to sort out an agreement quickly, with the manager keen to build on his side’s success. (although even then it looks a bit steep) However, put yourself in the owners shoes - give him a 9 mill contract and come December we are bottom and playing crap. will only cost the club 9 mill to get rid! I think you will get an ndication how big the annual salary is by the length of time it is signed for.
