Again. never said that i accepted failure because hes a nice guy? i said its not his fault the players he has are poor. get rid of roy and we transfer the same problem onto the next manager (who for all we know may attempt to go back to playing long ball football) so whats your great solution? we should have man marked pirlo. have you thought that maybe he saw in training he didnt have a player who could a) track pirlo b) close the spaces he likes to move to and pass into c)make use of the ball when we have it its easy to say in hindsight man mark pirlo - we could have set out to do that and as a result failed to score a goal and create any chances. when youve got a shit set of players to choose from guess what happens? they dont perform

In my lifetime, the best two England managers have been Bobby Robson (though the squad of players he had at his disposal were MUCH better than this lot) and El Tel Venables. Where we go from here?
