Impressive record, even for Rangers in the Scottish second tier.

I still love him.

A closer look at Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink’s assistant manager …

QPR’s new Assistant Manager, David Oldfield, enjoyed a playing career spanning 20 years and almost 600 professional appearances – most notably with Leicester City, Luton Town, Stoke City and Peterborough United – before he became the Reserve Team Manager at Posh in 2008.

In 2011, he joined West Bromwich Albion as a Senior Professional Development Coach.

After three years working in the top flight with the Baggies’ Category One Academy, Oldfield moved to MK Dons as their Head of Academy Coaching.

However, after six months at Stadium:mk, the opportunity to work within a first-team environment at Burton Albion with Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink proved too good to resist, and the former midfielder was named Assistant Manager at the Pirelli Stadium in November 2014.

Sharing similar views on the game to Hasselbaink, Oldfield played a vital role in the Brewers’ success over the past 12 months.

Surprised they ignored his brief spell managing Brackley Town.

Poor ole Esteban... Knocked out the champs league. Also doesn't see to get much playing time? I wonder if he regrets leaving?

I imagine his contract is the best he could get. Don't feel too bad for him.
