davieG Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Hednesford Town Football Club have today moved to appoint former Chelsea and Leicester City defender Frank Sinclair as their new first team manager. Following the departure of Bernard McNally early this morning, Sinclair undertook an interview at Keys Park this afternoon before being handed the role. Sinclair has experience at this level having guided Colwyn Bay to safety in the 2012/13 season despite being nine points from safety at one point. In the following season the 44-year-old led Bay to a 12th place finish while he also took temporary charge of Brackley Town earlier this season. Speaking on his appointment Frank said: “I’m pleased that it has come around now and I think I’m ready for the job, I have been helped along today very much by the Chairman and we have left no stone unturned regarding the squad, the football club and the supporters and what is expected here. “We have got a lot of hard work to do and it is something that I am really excited about and I think it is a great platform for myself to go again and to try and improve on field results for Hednesford.” Sinclair will take over as Manager with immediate effect and will be assisted by Chris Millington with the duo having worked together at Oldham Athletic. He added: “Chris Millington is someone I have worked with for the last year at Oldham Athletic, he is a very experienced coach and I am hoping that he will help me improve the players, organise the team and make us hard to beat.” The manager will have two full training sessions with the team ahead of Saturday’s trip to Stalybridge Celtic. We would all like to wish the new management team well with their appointments.

I loved Lenny when he played for us, but glad we have Claudio as our manager and not him - as some people wanted.
Stevosevic Posted 22 December 2015 Posted 22 December 2015 Regardless of how good a player he was, the bloke is a scum bag.
Izzy Posted 22 December 2015 Posted 22 December 2015 Regardless of how good a player he was, the bloke is a scum bag. Why do you say that? Aren't these just 'alegations' at this stage, or are there other reasons why you think he's a scum bag?
Stevosevic Posted 22 December 2015 Posted 22 December 2015 Why do you say that? Aren't these just 'alegations' at this stage, or are there other reasons why you think he's a scum bag? There's plenty dating right back to when he was a Leicester player - I'm sure anyone else on this forum that has met him will agree. He's a nasty piece of work.
lgfualol Posted 22 December 2015 Posted 22 December 2015 imagine if we brought him in like some fans wanted. We'd be on 2 points
