Corky Posted 17 August 2014 Posted 17 August 2014 fanny on right KUNTchesky on the left and moore in the middle love it
harpendenfox Posted 17 August 2014 Posted 17 August 2014 Does Fanni have a reputation for winning the first ball, or a tendency to be sloppy second? Nearly worked
Bamba's Babes Posted 17 August 2014 Posted 17 August 2014 You're all hilarious and quite clearly not getting enough from the missus... Can we just discuss the prospective transfer? If true, do you reckon this deal has been accelerated by RDL's poor performance on Saturday?
Robin JD Popley Posted 17 August 2014 Posted 17 August 2014 Serious comment: Seems to have a good CV, never seen him play though. As I said on the previous page mate, he is (well, at least was) a good player. Champions League experience again. Played in Ligue 1 for most of his career - would bring invaluable know how to our young team.
Filbert_Ross Posted 17 August 2014 Posted 17 August 2014 Hopefully he don't get caught out of position and leave a gaping hole.
Fosse93 Posted 17 August 2014 Posted 17 August 2014 What's wrong with our current right back? Nothing, but we don't have another recognised RB in the squad.
crazylegs1984 Posted 17 August 2014 Posted 17 August 2014 im happy we are signing a new rightback lets hope hes fits the bill because we have had enough ***** at this club
crazylegs1984 Posted 17 August 2014 Posted 17 August 2014 on a serious note though hes been linked with various moves to the premiership in the past but never materialized Club career[edit]Fanni began his career with FC Martigues, playing in both Ligue 2 and the Championnat National. He joined RC Lens in 2002 where he made his debut in Ligue 1, as well as both the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Cup. He played the entire2004–05 season on loan at Châteauroux in Ligue 2. In June 2005 he joined Nice but left after only two seasons to sign a four-year contract with Rennes, where he was viewed as a replacement for Dutch defender Mario Melchiot, who had departed for Premier League club Wigan Athletic. Fanni was named in the Ligue 1 Team of the Year for the 2008–09 season. He has expressed a desire to play in the Premier League and was strongly linked with a move to Newcastle United before signing for Rennes.[1] He was also linked with Everton[2] and West Ham United[3] prior to signing a one year contract extension with Rennes in November 2009, which kept Fanni tied to Les Rouges et Noirs until June 2012. In December 2010, Marseille successfully acquired the services of Fanni
MPH Posted 17 August 2014 Posted 17 August 2014 This could either sell thousands of shirts or none at all. I can't decide which one.
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 17 August 2014 Posted 17 August 2014 Not sure why everyone seems so confident we're getting him. Maybe I've become a pessimist after the Cambiasso saga, so is this a good and reputable source??
Harry - LCFC Posted 17 August 2014 Posted 17 August 2014 If true, do you reckon this deal has been accelerated by RDL's poor performance on Saturday? Is that it then, he's shit now is he? I've seen a number of people say something along those lines now. All of a sudden people are desperate for another RB. It's as if they think he's never going to play well again because of what they saw on Saturday.
st albans fox Posted 17 August 2014 Posted 17 August 2014 Not sure why everyone seems so confident we're getting him. Maybe I've become a pessimist after the Cambiasso saga, so is this a good and reputable source?? Assuming he passes his medical it's happening.
Bellend Sebastian Posted 17 August 2014 Posted 17 August 2014 Good reason to drag this out again: http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ibuLgsVcQUY
Babylon Posted 17 August 2014 Posted 17 August 2014 What's wrong with our current right back?Nothing... The fact we currently only have 5 recognised defenders is the problem.
