Radio Leicester - Stringer

Did the players speak to Stringer after the game on Saturday?

I'd go and call him a **** but I'm already blocked by the shit heap.

Nope.

Ranieri did but the players didn't.

What would Stringers next step be on the career ladder? A slot on 5 Live as they go around the grounds on a match day afternoon??

As mentioned earlier tonight in this thread the guy is always looking for an angle to progress his career.

Could use him as one of the arms on these things.

Also, Stringer claiming that the Phone-In would read out criticism of the program on air - how often has that actually happened over the past few months and years with Stringer in charge? Maybe a handful of times? Funny he now has to suck up to the critics, too.

And... another excruciatingly long intro, followed by another radio commentary round-up of our win later in this evening's edition. That's about 10% of the time on air wasted on redundant material.

The guys a bellend and is surely on borrowed time.

Wonder how much longer the responsibles at BBC Radio Leicester are showing glimpses of tolerance.

Stringer probably runs around the newsroom every Tuesday morning, shouting "But have you seen the ratings from last night??".

Can anyone actually say they would ever enjoy having to interview Pearson on a regular basis?

I always liked interviewing Pearson. Tried to ask fair and balanced questions - even tough ones during the difficult times - and he pretty much always answered well.

And with Pearson, Stringer didn't really asked 'fair' questions; only sensitive-type ones - and that made Pearson go funny at times.

is there any value in mass complaints to the bbc? we do pay the license fee, and it is quite clear that there is NO ONE on here that actually sees any value in him. plus the fact that surely the bbc is meant to be impartial, and also whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty?

i'm utterly amazed that he has held on to this job when a key part of it is interviewing (and maintaining a relationship with) key people at the club. to have caused a breakdown in relations to the extent that we dont get the content that we should expect should be more than enough of a reason for him to have been kicked out ages ago!

we pay the same amount of money as supporters of other clubs do, we should get the same level of content.

We need to petition the BBC for a new commentator. They don't have to sack him, just take him away from lcfc duties.

I hear this guy is looking to retire.

He doesn't have to drop his tones to be more serious and refer to the "Incident" that he can't quote the racist words as he doesn't feel comfortable.... he makes such a big deal out things in search of his own importance.

Jap, Japanese. Scot, Scottish, Ozzie, Australian ..... spot the offensive word that can't be used on Radio Leicester because it's too offensive.

We had an incident like this in the NFL a few years back.  A big time coach referred to a trick play as a Jap play. He took a lot of stick for it, but no suspension if I recall.
