Anyone flown Norwegian air and recommend it? Looking at their premium option

Yeah, flew with them to LA from UK and from Miami back to UK. Absolutely no qualms, good service for the price. Entertainment not as good as Virgin, Emirates etc though.

I'm going Wroclaw in a couple of weeks with a few friends if anyone has any tips?

A very much needed break after the last few weeks, so im beginning to look forward to it!

I went end of November last year. We got there at the start of the Christmas market which was fantastic, walked around it most days. If you like sushi there are lots of places and they're all great. Went to an incredible thai restaurant too but I cant remember the name at the moment. Did an escape room which was really intricate. There is great zoo there if that's your thing, apparently it's the third biggest in the world. Theres a water museum there called Hydropolis which we went to because it sounded like a joke but it was actually really interesting.

Walking around the city there's loads of little metal gnomes in random places, I think about 400ish, and it's a thing there to go round and find them all. We didnt bother but they are quite cool when you happen to come across them.

We used Lime electric scooters to get around everywhere which was fun and cheap, enabled us to see far more of the city than we originally planned. Also the trams are great for getting about and really cheap

In terms of bars and restaurants I cant remember any specific names but there are some really nice places, to be honest we didnt really go anywhere bad. Cheap too. Although if you like craft beer theres a really cool pub called Lamus. It's a tiny place built into a railway arch (theres a whole line of stuff) was really cool and a great selection of drinks. If you're wanting a boozy break wroclaw is great, most bars are cool. Even found a couple with live music most nights. But for museums and sightseeing etc it's a beautiful city with lots to see.

Edit - theres also something called Panorama of the Battle of Racławice which is quite interesting. An enormous 360 painting at the top of a tower. Get a headset that tells you all about it. When I mentioned to my grandad we were going to Wroclaw that was the first thing he mentioned. He is Polish in his 90s now, he was telling me how he saw it as a kid, it got moved to wroclaw because of the war. We ended up taking him to wroclaw with us as a sort of last visit.

Flew premium to Seattle last year and economy on the way back.

Both were great.

Would fly with them again definitely but I find going from Gatwick to be a pain when you live up here.

Literally just landed in JFK…. Flew Norwegian air!  No frills and movie selection is not like Emirates, but, comfortable and very modern aircraft…. Drink prices aren’t ridiculous either $5 for an Aass beer (used to work opposite that brewery in Norway!)

i mentioned earlier Gatwick is way easier than Heathrow on the train…. Took me 2h 10m this morning using Thameslink…. Car is painful

Working…. Up in Connecticut for the week…. Wide awake at 5.30!  Back on Thursday night…. You can bid for premium seats starting from £175…. Might have a punt as the overnight ones can be a bit blurry

Thanks for all the replies re Florida, got a really good price for a week in orlando and a week down clearwater flying ba into orlando and out of Tampa, hire car and 2 hotels. Priced by a company called ocean Florida.

Long shot but anyone used them?

Also I've been Florida 3 times but never been busch gardens anyone got any thoughts on bothering. My kids will be 11 and 9 if we go in 2021.

Only heard good reports of Ocean Florida - I would certainly book with them if they offered a decent price. Sounds a good itinerary to me! I would definitely go to Busch Gardens if you are staying out that way. Even if your kids don't want to do the big rides, there's loads to see there. My personal highlights were feeding kangaroos (smallish fee) and the Serengeti safari where you can feed giraffes (more expensive, but so good!)

That people you know?

I've done a bit of research and theres some serious moans about their customer service online. I know people only generally tend to complain never praise. But their twitter is full of people who are saying they are impossible to get hold of.

Hmm interesting. I am on quite a few Florida related groups and I have never heard of any issues of them. If you have any doubts, it's worth trying Kenwood Travel (I know people who use them religiously and I have used them for an upcoming trip) or Charter Travel. If you share the quote you have received, I am sure they will look to price match. Which hotel did you go for in Orlando in the end?

The quote they sent was the Avanti Palms on international drive. Looks ok.

My friend has just been laid off by Thomas cook and has gone with the personal travel agent company so I'm seeking advice and quotes from her as well. Prices for flights wont actually be set in stone till dec from what I can work out so I'm gonna do a bit more research as well. I will certainly have a look at the 2 agents you have recommended as well. Thanks.

2 nights away in Oxford in January 🥶

2 nights in Amsterdam in March

2 weeks in Gran Canaria in October

also thinking of Lisbon in May if the bank balance can afford it.

Oxford is ace. I went there a month or so back. Cowley Road is like a really posh Narborough Road, then you have the centre. Then the area we didn’t visit was Jerico? So you get three places in one.

Oxford really is good, great new shopping centre too.

Stopped at the Malmaison, which is an old prison, literally stopped in a room made out of three old cells, with original cell doors.

Yours Sincerely

Just been to Dubai, under duress I must say. Didn’t want to go, but I just go where I am told holiday wise.

What an amazing place. Without doubt the best service I have ever come across, and the hotels and restaurants are first class.

Atlantis The Palm Hotel is the best hotel I have ever stayed in with regards to the room, service and facilities.

All the negative thoughts I had were not apparent when I got there, a very friendly, safe, clean and entertaining place to visit.

Looking for any advice on Greece.

Me and the mrs are looking at booking a holiday for next June, we are both mid-late 20s and are after somewhere that isn't massively touristy and still maintains a bit of local charm. Neither of us have been Greece before, we've looked at places like Parga, Crete (Rethymno, Agios Nikolaos & Chania) or Kefalonia (no specific area). We like beach days but also explorring the local towns, not massively fussed about historical sites, good food and bars are always appreciated. If anyone has been and knows of somewhere I'd appreciate any advice.
