Lovejoy Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 I get the pain of the way this season has worked out, I really do. But if we go down, NP has the track record to get us back up, more so for me than any viable replacement. There's no point sacking him as punishment if there isn't an obvious upgrade. Yes, this season has been a let down and I'm bored of justifying to people why I pay the money to go every week, but Nige has my full backing to get us back up. He's done it twice before and there's every reason to believe he can do it again. I just hope the harsh lessons are being learnt.
m4DD0gg Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 He will be gone before end of the season, he is that shit and the people of leicester wont stand for it, he wont manage in the top flight again, he makes steve kean look a tactical genius.
Babylon Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 Can you sign all your posts with my name as well as yours this eve. Basically just saying what I want at the moment, feel like I'm wasting my time Ditto!
Fox92 Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 I think today is the first time I've reconsidered... One up front again. I understand it against Arsenal but against such a poor opposition!? Kramaric has no chance. And talk about the individual performances today, what happened? They didn't look bothered. I've said it across many a thread now but it's true. Some of them, Schlupp as an example, were a joke. We are so bad. Everything is just so frustrating for those 90 minutes. And yes opinions change quickly but that's football. All fans are fickle, not just us here at Leicester City.
Guest bss9401 Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 NP got us promoted (eventually). He has failed this season. Time to move on and get someone else in.
andy peake Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 I rarely post on this forum although I've supported city for nearly 50 years. Without a doubt the time has come to say goodbye to Nigel. Forget the promotions we are going slowly backwards. There is no certainty at all that we would be successful in getting promotion next season. But it is not likely that a good manager could be enticed to join us at this stage of the season. They wouldn't want relegation on their cv. May need to look for a caretaker manager to take us through to the summer and then look for a high quality replacement. O'Neil would be the ideal caretaker but an unlikely one.

hackneyfox Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 Haydos Why is Lennon dross? Didn't he take Celtic further in the CL than they've been in years, beating Barcelona on the way?
RedSoxUK Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 Has Pearson not thrown the last 3 years work down the drain this season? First, can you say how he has thrown away the last three years of work.
LCFCSOULBOY Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 I love how certain people come on here week in and week out saying that manager is sh.t and that team I'd sh.t. The reality is, is that we are bottom of the league. Playing sh.t football and have a clueless sh.t manager. The reality is obvious yo see. The league table does not lie. In Pearson's interviews he talks a good game, but that is all. We would all love to see him and the team do well. But even in losing we don't look good. Let's be honest. We haven't look a good side for 90 minutes in any game this season. At the moment we remind me of the old Italian national sides of the 70's and 80's. Set up to defend for your life and counter. I am sorry but we don't have hardly player anyway near their quality.
Raj Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 Today is the day when i just couldnt give a fook if he is sacked or not.
Tuna Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 Today is the day when i just couldnt give a fook if he is sacked or not. I know its almost at the point where you just couldn't care less anymore and hope for the season to end tomorrow.
shailen Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 So its OK to react to just one game if the performance is good yeah? Nope I've never reacted regardless of the result. I've seen us play so well and lose this season (Spurs home) and lose and play badly and win (Hull, Stoke). Usually good performances bring results, and so as long as we play well I'm happy. Thing which irritates me is the errors we make, schoolboy at times. But blame the players for this not the manager.
Robin JD Popley Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 Apparently his odds on being sacked are reducing again... I think what really depressed me watching us today was how easy it is for sides to play against us? It is no surprise we are bottom. Please, please, please Vichai just do the right thing and put the man out of his misery - it will be one of the best decisions you will make as our Chairman.
AKCJ Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 People think that if we just sack him that it'll all get better. Get real. The next best manager is TONY MOWBRAY. Let that sink in. Glad that it's a silent minority that want him out. The real fans were loud and clear in their support of Nige.

DIdnt you hear Sir Pearson himself being told"You dont know what your doing??? Dont think the silent minority ARE a silent minority...and judging by the ill feeling and sepration of fans over this recently i dont think it will get much better unless we start winning what essentially he gets paida million to do...win fooking football games with players HE has bought!

Not that I want him here but what's your point?

Guest ttfn Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 I don't think Martin Jol is a bad shout at all.
Babylon Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 NP got us promoted (eventually). He has failed this season. Time to move on and get someone else in. There is a good argument for him going. But when did it become the case that failing to keep a newly promoted team up means the manager should be sacked?
ScouseFox Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 Haydos Why is Lennon dross? Didn't he take Celtic further in the CL than they've been in years, beating Barcelona on the way? pearson took us to the fa cup quarter final and we beat United a few months ago. PEARSON IN.
