Danizen Posted 9 April 2016 Posted 9 April 2016 Spuds are going to have a very tough match against Southampton!I bet it's alright if they win 1-0.
Kendal Fox Posted 9 April 2016 Posted 9 April 2016 Am I the only one a little concerned that we struggled with Newcastle the other week, only for them to get battered by Norwich and Southampton?! Or was that just bad timing for us that they'd just appointed Benitez and the game was pushed back from the weekend to Monday? Either way, we really need to be up for tomorrow vs Sunderland.

But we beat Southampton, I'm not worried about that... Since the infact we have won all our games ... so
foxinsox Posted 9 April 2016 Posted 9 April 2016 Villa are going to be the biggest club to ever be relegated from the Premier League. Arguably Newcastle and Sunderland are bigger clubs, with bigger crowds. It is a triplet of big club misery.

We're seven points clear at the top of the Premier League. I think you're probably the only one concerned that we beat Newcastle 1-0.
Kendal Fox Posted 9 April 2016 Posted 9 April 2016 But we beat Southampton, I'm not worried about that... True. I guess I'm just concerned that we are not winning comfortably against bottom of the table teams when the likes of Norwich and Saints are scoring at least 3 goals against the same teams.
Kendal Fox Posted 9 April 2016 Posted 9 April 2016 We're seven points clear at the top of the Premier League. I think you're probably the only one concerned that we beat Newcastle 1-0. Just want to see us score a few goals to win games comfortably. Especially when we are finding it hard against bottom of the table teams. I'll take 1 nils 4 more times if the worst comes to the worst, but the stomach might not be able to!!!
Matt Posted 9 April 2016 Posted 9 April 2016 So all change at Villa, they released a new badge earlier in the week and now they're changing their name to Aston VillaR.
ajthefox Posted 9 April 2016 Posted 9 April 2016 Chelsea beaten in the league for the first time under Hiddink. Watford all the way down to 15th now. Big win for Palace too, definitely two of Newcastle, Sunderland and Norwich to go down with the villa.
Guest ttfn Posted 9 April 2016 Posted 9 April 2016 Bournemouth now closer to the Champions League places than relegation. I thought they'd be relegated comfortably (more fool me). Great effort from that club this year.

UPinCarolina Posted 9 April 2016 Posted 9 April 2016 Bournemouth now closer to the Champions League places than relegation. I thought they'd be relegated comfortably (more fool me). Great effort from that club this year. Further proof that we're living in some sort of alternate reality right now. Just look at the table!
Koke Posted 9 April 2016 Posted 9 April 2016 Everton are now 14th in the league. Last season they finished 11th. What an abysmal manager Martinez is.
bovril Posted 9 April 2016 Posted 9 April 2016 Sunderland will be feeling pretty up for it right now. Is it just me or these next two fixtures starting to feel like two of the toughest of the season?
Donut Posted 9 April 2016 Posted 9 April 2016 Sunderland will be feeling pretty up for it right now. Is it just me or these next two fixtures starting to feel like two of the toughest of the season? I know id rather be playing those games 7 in front rather than 7 behind though.
bovril Posted 9 April 2016 Posted 9 April 2016 I know id rather be playing those games 7 in front rather than 7 behind though. Er, obviously. Maybe I'm being a typically pessimistic Leicester fan but I think the next two games are very easy to lose. West Ham are playing some of the best stuff in the league right now, Sunderland was never going to be easy. I can't see them being 1-0s. But then my gut feeling has been wrong most of the season and long may it continue...
Guest BlueBrett Posted 9 April 2016 Posted 9 April 2016 Bamba the second coming, where people think he is good because he plays football in and around his own box Bamba > Stones More attacking threat and sex appeal
