FrankieWorthoYaggedMyWife Posted 1 July 2015 Posted 1 July 2015 I'd like to see someone like Patrick Viera given it. I'm not falling in to the hysteria that this is the end for Leicester and we're in a very healthy position right now. Looking at the managers out of work that would realistically come there aren't many that fill me with excitement. Allardyce would keep us up but i'd be willing to risk that and go for someone who might take us to the next level. Viera has been cutting his teeth at Man City and his reputation in the game is second to none. I also think he'd be very influential in keeping Cambiasso. They have obviously got someone lined up, they're ruthless ***** and this has obviously been brewing for a while. I would be staggered if they haven't sounded people out before giving Nigel both barrels. looking back his lack of presence in the last couple of weeks has been odd. I'm not having the Cambiasso hysteria that he will now not re-sign because Pearson has gone, how many managers came and went in his time at Inter?
midland_red Posted 1 July 2015 Posted 1 July 2015 Are you really saying that Pearson was better than ALL the possible new managers we could choose from? Yep.. They really truly had no plan B....
maynefox Posted 1 July 2015 Posted 1 July 2015 Redknapp would put our club back to the stone age. Worst appointment possible.
fuchsntf Posted 1 July 2015 Posted 1 July 2015 I honestly think the best way forward keeping the philosophy and harmony we have now is to appoint Shakey as our Head Coach, with Walsh still staying on for player recruitment. not a bad call, players and fans would have continuity.Does Walsh have his badges? From my side, I would prefer it to 90% mentioned on the list.
Guest Papasmurf Posted 1 July 2015 Posted 1 July 2015 Yep.. They really truly had no plan B.... You feel there's no plan B because we've not made an appointment in the 16 hours or so we've been without a manager?
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 1 July 2015 Posted 1 July 2015 Redknapp would put our club back to the stone age. Worst appointment possible. If he's appointed I wouldn't go again until he left.
ramboacdc Posted 1 July 2015 Posted 1 July 2015 fun fact. pearson was sacked on 29th june 2010 and 30th june 2015. was also hired on 22nd june 2008...this club likes to make moves around the glastonbury/wimbledon weeks! must have a box!
FrankieWorthoYaggedMyWife Posted 1 July 2015 Posted 1 July 2015 Hiddink is in to 4/1 from 25s...... more worrying Lennon at 2/1
Bluearmyfox28 Posted 1 July 2015 Posted 1 July 2015 Heard Chris Powell from a few people saying they would be happy with him?
Happy Fox Posted 1 July 2015 Posted 1 July 2015 Heard Chris Powell from a few people saying they would be happy with him? Nice guy, but nowhere near good enough for managing a side in the prem yet.
Corky Posted 1 July 2015 Posted 1 July 2015 Heard Chris Powell from a few people saying they would be happy with him? Based on what?
Stevosevic Posted 1 July 2015 Posted 1 July 2015 Hiddink is in to 4/1 from 25s...... Only with SkyBet it seems.
An Away Move Posted 1 July 2015 Posted 1 July 2015 The very optimistic part of me thinks we might appeal to the maverick side of Klopp. It might well happen. On the other side of the coin might Simon Grayson be worth a long odds bet?
An Away Move Posted 1 July 2015 Posted 1 July 2015 I think our owners have a marquee appointment in the pipeline. One thing I do know about them is that they are gamblers. My ex-girlfriend's flatmate is on first name terms with them. She works for a high end London casino and they are regulars. I think they are taking a punt on someone they consider a better bet for the future.
Beliall Posted 1 July 2015 Posted 1 July 2015 Can someone actually quote word for word what sean dyche has said about leicester.Blah blah blah market leaders blah blah many pound notes blah blah got a strepsil?
VLC86 Posted 1 July 2015 Posted 1 July 2015 Steve Cotterill has appeared on skybet Who is his money on?
hornyhollthefox123 Posted 1 July 2015 Posted 1 July 2015 Holy mother of god. He's 6/4 favourite from 33/1
lgfualol Posted 1 July 2015 Posted 1 July 2015 Ah, lovely. It is bound to be a manager from league 1/championship.
Guest seanfox778 Posted 1 July 2015 Posted 1 July 2015 That'd be worse than when WBA put Irvine in charge. Disaster.
les-tah Posted 1 July 2015 Posted 1 July 2015 i think this is going to be a really underwhelming appointment.
