What a great start to the season. Not surprised we conceeded a couple of goals but what a start we made. Top of the league just let that sink in a minute. From what i read Okazaki was a menace. Im working with alot of Geordies at the minute who are all well chuffed

Plenty of positives but we shouldn't have conceded those two goals. Poor defending.

We won't play many teams worse than Sunderland this season.

The front 4 were just unplayable. Kingy and Drinky ran the game. Huth and Morgan both had below par games.

Up the Blues.

Great first half but we let them back in second half a little and let in a couple of sloppy goals. Need to sort that.

All players performed really well. Kasper could have done better (or shouted) for their second.

Positives - man we played some amazing stuff at times. New signings (especially Shinji) played well. Benny is a bit too keen to go for the ball rather than stay in position. Kante showed glimpses of why we chased him so long - some great passing and vision.

Mahrez and Albrighton were immense.

Fantastic start, brilliant for an hour. Shame we've conceded two as it takes a bit of gloss off and flatters Sunderland. Mahrez is going to be a star if he can score more regularly. Albrighton sounded fantastic.

Did last season end?

Great start! Just what we needed under CR!

Our attacking looked lethal! Shame about defending, not sure why we looked so shakey as same players started at the back who was here last year.

Sunderland may have a very long season ahead of them at this rate. They could not stop our transition game, and our set pieces were hitting all match.

Losing habit under Advocaat could snowball!

Bit sweaty defensively, game should really have been killed but that was really encouraging on the whole. Mahrez, Albrighton, Shinji and Vardy will rightly be praised but Drinkwater looked almost like his 2013/14 counterpart; if he can maintain that he'll 'be like a new signing.'

Okazaki looks like he fits right in with what we're about going forward.

Ref was dogshit, though - Rodwell and Pantillimon shouldn't have been on the pitch come the full time whistle.

Perfect start, won the game, should have scored six could have scored ten, but also laid bare some weaknesses that Ranieri can now get to work on strengthening.

I was wondering during the game if it might be up there with when we beat Sunderland 5-2 as one of our best ever performances. I think the first half was up there, the second not quite, but what's exciting is that the 5-2 game was at the end of an era, this is just the beginning :scarf:

Very unlucky to concede 2 goals but hopefully Schmeichel is getting his mistakes out of the way early on in the season. Huth was unlucky to not stop Fletcher scoring.

Going forward we were excellent. I was wondering what it would be like having 2 pests up front but calling them pests is doing them a disservice really. Both Shinji and Jamie were superb, and Shinji looks like he's got some real class. Albrighton was amazing but I'd agree with Mahrez as MOTM. If he passed a bit more I think we'd have had at least another goal as well.

Absolutely loving life.

Leicester winning comfortably exposing a poor Sunderland and exposing idiotic assumptions sports reports expecting Leicester to be ****ing shit because of Claudio 'Faroe Islands Ranieri.'

Bournemouth being exposed for the toss they are and will be on day 1 vs a depleted and poor Villa team.

Bring on next week, top of the league lads.

good start, created a lot of chances and probably should have finished 6 or 7 nil if we were clinical but oh well. Gifted them two goals which was slightly concerning and we wont get away with doing that against a team thats not as shit as sunderland. Top of the league though and thank god it didnt finish 0-0

8 wins out of 10.

Shinji and Vardy were good; Mahrez and Albrighton sensational.

Schlupp was terrorizing them.

Don't forget Kaspers saves first five minutes.

Benny is a younger Was.
